Yes I'll get a friend to do it. I'm a bit embarrassed to ask but I'm sure she won't mind. I've finally been referred to the rheumatologist so hopefully I'll have some answers soon x2022 Comp total (prizes + free spins): £494.81 #20 £12 a day Jan: £382.95/£372 #57 360 1p challenge: £17.70 £10 a day Feb: £571.09/£280 March: £311.96/£3100

I have put a claim in for PIP and a few days later I received a call from someone saying I didn't need an assessment they have all the medical information they need.
That was around 5 weeks ago so I rang DWP for an update only to be told it was still with ATOS.
So I called ATOS who denied anyone had called and told me I was on the waiting list for a home assessment. When I asked if there was a timescale on this my reply was 'how long is a piece of skin'.
Call me sceptical but I suspect I maybe in for a long wait for this claim.
Has anyone else had a home assessment and how long did it take them to get it????0 -

My claim took 7 weeks from start to award. I had a letter about a face to face at 3 week's, then had face to face at 5 week's and award 2 week's after that. I did go to an assessment centre for my face to face tho and tool my mum with me. I got standard daily living and enhanced mobility, I also asked for my report and it was fair and factual. I have severe anxiety and depression and had my home assessment about 4 weeks after applying and was accepted into both enhanced daily care and mobility a week after that.
I'm sorry to hear that it's taking so long for others hope you all get it sorted out ASAP Xxx.:heart2:0 -
DLA to PIP
Phoned to initiate claim on 23 November. Received claim form on 3 December. Needed to submit claim form through post to dwp by 23 December. I asked for extension by phone and was told 6 January.
My claim form was sent back to dwp on Thursday 17th December and the decision letter back to me was dated 21 December and I received it on 24 December. Enhanced daily living and mobility award. 30 days from phone call to decision letter.0 -
Hi all,
My wife has sero negative athritis and made a claim for pip on the 7th on jan 2016, We waited until the 21st of march until we had her assessment '10 weeks' and after the assessment a further 6 weeks until we had a decision was made. All in all 16 weeks from start to finish, 'far too long in my opinion' but we was awarded it and back dated to the start date of our claim. Hope this helps and good luck with you claims.0
