I had mine last week. Very nice lady who put me at ease. Lots of questions & some movement assessment. Good luck.

  • Anyone know when I may get an invite to claim PIP? My DLA claim runs out in August and I have no idea what's going to happen.

    Hi guys,

another quick question (not a long essay lol). So they finally received the paper copy on monday (assessment only last week - I know this is very quick but after waiting 14 months already i am very impatient). Does anybody know how long they take to make a decision - they are saying 2 weeks on the phone from when they received the paper copy. How often should i be pestering them?

    Thanks :)

I had my assessment on 9th March & was told it could be 2 weeks before I hear anything, or it could be a month. I just phoned to check that electronic & paper reports have gone in & was told 'Yes, we have all the information we need so it shouldn't be long before you hear from us'

Thanks - I had my assessment on the 11th (last weds). They got the electronic on thursday (rang on monday to ask) and they got the paper one on monday (I rang today). She quoted me 2 weeks on the phone (that takes it to the 30th). But seeing as I have waitied 14 months already I am not hopeful but will keep pestering them with another phone call on monday! :)
