I spoke to someone on Friday & they told me that my claim was being looked at on Wednesday 8th & I should have a decision soon. I rang again today & was told that there was nothing on the screen to say that the decision maker was looking at it on the 8th & that I'd been misinformed. I'm losing faith now. Everyone is giving me conflicting stories :(

I rang today too and was told that its been with the decision maker since the 8th april too. the lady said that its not usually with the decision makers for much more than 7 working days and that we should here from them very soon, she said that if we haven't heard anything by Friday then to ring again.

I really don't know what to think after conflicting stories so I'm looking for the telephone number of the main PIP office if anyone has it. I keep getting put through to a call centre in Stockport... *Just editing this as my Husband phoned today & was told yet another version...the Bank Holiday! Now we've been told 5 different reasons for the delay & 5 different timescales for a decision. So...I will either hear something imminantly...or I'll hear something in 2 weeks. I'm sure the people in that call centre make up a new excuse every day.

here is the number you need to call then you press 3 then press 2 0345 850 3322 I have just rang them again and the man said he would check to see if a decision had been made yet he went to look and came back and said its still with the decision maker and not decided yet... he said that it can be with the decision maker 1-2 weeks usually and once the decision has been made they will send a letter out by 2nd class post informing us of there decision and once the letter has been sent can take 3-4days to reach us... its an absolute joke ive really had enough of them now, mega stressed out. let me know what they say to you when u call them.xx

That's the number I've been calling. One person on that number told me they can't phone the decision makers, they have to email them. I'm losing the will to live now...I wish we'd never bothered filling the forms in & going through all this.
