Oh my god doesnt sound good im sure your get pip with all that, but then saying that I have heard alot of these assessors lie, but they would have to be good liars to say you have no health problems.x0 -
My home assessment with atsos is next week.
Can I/should I say at the time I I would like to request a copy of the assessment report?

no skye, you have to wait for atos to send the report over to dwp, once dwp have the report back from atos you can them ask the dwp to issue a copy of your report.x0 -
Whoop Whoop
My daughter was registered blind in October last year. Her sight has improved a little with surgery, but she lost her job and is not able to see enough to make meals, read or go out on her own.
After the PIP assessment she was awarded 0 points in both categories.
After getting re-assessment assistance from the RNIB charity lawyers, today she was awarded enhanced payment in both care and mobility.
Big back dated award of money on the way, but HOW STUPID is the process.
PIP assessment 0 points and yet after a second look, full award!!!NO to pasty tax We won!!!! Just shows that people power works! Don't be apathetic to your cause!0 -

That sounds very suspicious. How can one Decision Maker give 0 points and a different one give enhanced for both?
Makes me think that someone made a bad error of judgement.
Why don't you contact them asking why the huge change and what was different in their thinking and reasoning?
If it was me, I would be contacting my MP at least to find out if the first Decision Maker isn't up to doing their job properly.0 -

Yep makes you wonder as It seemed from the write up that they based the re-assessment more on the original paperwork than the appeal.
I think the ASOS PIP medical was a farce and the assessor made a number of assumptions that were incorrect.
Like no stick or guide dog means you can see.
My daughter could not read a paper document she was passed or even locate the eye chart on the wall let alone read it, yet she put that this person could read simple and complicated paperwork.
The MP was involved and maybe after the election I will find out why the huge change in points. from 0 - 0 to 21 - 12.
It's crazy... But we are pleased it is over after starting on 13th October 2014.
She is still getting far less than she was able to earn, so I guess disability awards are not excessive.NO to pasty tax We won!!!! Just shows that people power works! Don't be apathetic to your cause!0 -
