hi every1. i have read this forum from top to bottom and it seems i have been very lucky with my application so far (hope i dont jinx myself here). i made my first contact with pip on 19/8/14 and i had my face to face assessment on 7/11/14. i received a letter this morning telling me that my report has been completed and has been selected for audit. it says they will contact me again when it is ready to be sent to DWP. the reason for me applying is that i have borderline personality dissorder, depression, and severe anxiety. i have suffered with these problems for the best part of 12 years and i am only 25. does anyone have any advice as to how long auditing takes/how long dwp take to make decision? and i also wonder if anyone has been awarded pip for similar reasons as mine. thanks. jo
Auditing can be anything from a few days to weeks, hopefully for you it's just a few days. PIP isn't about the condition/diagnosis, it's about how the condition affects you in daily life. Awards are not given based on condition/diagnosis.

    Decision recieved today.

The man from DWP said 'Yes'!!
  • WOW that was a fast decision , Did you have Capita or ATOS ? for your f2f ? nice to see some people getting the right decision made in their favour.

Hi jennij72 had they previously awarded you anything before your MR? So very pleased at your outcome and hoping mine could be as quick x

Hi, yes they had awarded me standard rate care, which I was happy with as did expect to get that. It was the mobility side that I needed more than anything. When I had my decision letter I had scored the full 12 points for the mobility side but not awarded it hence the MR x

I had a nurse from Atos - the f2f was gruelling 1 hour and 20 minutes:eek: I'm very pleased as the only other choice is to give up work totally!

Now I just have my disciplinary(For absentism due to sickness) at work to get through :(

From now on I will just be working the minimum 16 hours a week:) It's all I can manage.

Just a bit of advice needed please? Home visit cancelled by capita for pip claim on 6th October said everything had been sent over to dwp for a decision to be made they said they had all evidence and information needed so no f2f. Have phoned dwp numerous times to be told they have not received the electronic copy but had everything else, I have phoned capita myself and they have told me that they have sent it three times now, phoned today and still being told that the electronic copy has not been received so the case manager can not look at it. It is not a big deal for us really as my son receives the dla anyway while waiting, but we just wanted to know regarding the mobility car, can anyone tell me has this happened to them? Or what do you think I should do? Many thanks...
