Call me a stress head but how does the assessor remember what was said in August? If she has different information to give surely she should have put it on the initial report. cant wait for all this to be over! Its making me really unwell worrying all the time.

Well I've sent away all I can to help in my MR, received a copy of my assessors reort and was disgusted that whatever we discussed she basically wrote the opposite of,she did contradict herself on several points as she said I got up from the chair on my 1st attempt with no trouble and at ease but earlier she had put the actual fact that it took 4 attempts and eventually required assistance, it's so very wrong they write whatever they feel, she also missed things out as wrote I could note use grab rails as I have never driven and don't have a license!!! I can't use grab rails as I don't have strength to hold on, laughable if it wasn't so serious,all I can do I wait now, I don't hold out much hope as I feel it's a lottery draw, I've always worked and this is my 1st time applying for anything as I truly need it but they say I can use aids so gave me 6points,should destroying as my OT and Gp have written to say this is not the case,anyway fingers crossed as it's been almost a year,xx

I know exactly what you mean! I wish you luck and sincerely hope you get a good outcome in the end. I am so annoyed they mess the reports up and seem to write what they want.
I think its worrying actually as they are playing with already vulnerable peoples lives. If they cant do the job properly move over for someone who can. They have been caught out with the volume of PIP claims and have rushed new assessors through and this is the outcome!

good luck rebjen you should get a good outcome especially as you can see the conflicting info, I heard today that a firm called maximus is taking over on 1st march probably same compaby different name lol will still be hearing these stories this time next year

Thank you, I feel I'm fighting a losing battle, I felt they gave 6 points so you feel so close yet so far, it's upsetting as I was so upset talking about my most personal intimate details yet they just disregarded it, anyway it's out of my hands now, I will be devastated if I don't get it overturned and do an to appeal, I've got nothing to lose yet everything to gain x

Maximus are taking over the ESA contract not the PIP one - just for info.
