Hi LadyLauren
No I didn't request my report. I guess I should have but the explanation the case manager sent for declining was so far away from what was said during the assessment I worked from that as there was more than enough. Ishall take it all the way to court if my MR is not successful so i'll ask for it then along with anything else.
Let me know how you get on

Oh my gosh i cannot believe it I phoned today to make sure they have received a letter sent from my caseworker for my mandatory reconsideration which they had and was then told a decision was made yesterday and I have now been awarded enhanced daily living and it's all being backdated from November I have been advised back pay will be in account next week just waiting for letter now
Fantastic news so pleased for you. can I ask how long your MR took? Although I requested mine on Aug 4th it was not allocated to a case manager until 8th Oct they just fob me off with different timescale. So frustrating.0 -

Hi nana I requested it on 12th sept they gave me 28 days to give supporting evidence and was told it would take approx 4 weeks after that but they actually did it quicker I think they must have passed it over as soon as they received a letter from my caseworker from cab which they got end of sept so once they got that it's taken roughly 3 weeks just waiting for the letter to come through my door now I hope you get a good result soon all in all it has taken me nearly a year I do hope people won't have to wait that long in future0 -

Thanks for that Dandydoo. I just sent a letter from my GP as extra evidence. What is it the CAB can do for us regarding pip timescales. I ask because we have one by us and will contact them if it would be useful.
many thanks

Hi nana I don't know your medical problems or disability so wouldn't be able to say my cab caseworker is my Macmillan caseworker as I have been fighting leukemia and had a bone marrow transplant also back problems from years ago but she did go through the decision letter where they refused pip with me and we went through it all bit by bit and wrote a letter explaining where the assessor had been wrong etc the cab might be able to help you in a form of a letter for supporting evidence it doesn't hurt to ask them0 -
