I would seriously complain. Not right, imo.
I thought that too and I have complained but they don't seemed to do anything about it. they received my complaint on the 6th June and done nothing so tbh I am stuck now don't know what to do just frustrated, annoyed and upset.
  • Kken 2303 your daughter sounds so much like me with contamination ocd anxiety etc I can relate to everything you wrote, I was awarded pip for these reasons but standard for daily and nothing for mobility however I had issues with claim (assesor who did f2f left before completing form after assessment so another worker had to fill paperwork in by looking at her notes and the lady who did f2f got a few bits wrong I corrected her and she apologised and said she would change it when doing paperwork which wasnt done because she had left)
After recieving paperwork today I see half the things about my situation are wrong so have asked for a M.R. need to put it all in writing. Does anyone know the current timescale of M.R. decision and what do they ask when they ring you to get more info. Thankyou x
  • I had a quick respose from my MP. She has written to IDS and she is waiting for his resposnse into the matter.

My first MR in January took about 4 weeks, but now they are saying the timescale is 11 weeks or more Just tell them what they have got wrong on the report. The lady on the phone went through report with me each section and I just told her what was wrong about it Good luck.
  • Hi dialysis, me thinks IDS going to have a headache if everyone complains.Good luck to you to.

Sunshinesusie3, if I were you I would get back on the phone and demand they do a same day payment into your account, since it was them that made the error, they can do that and it will cost them but that's probably less than what they would have to pay if you claimed a special payment as a result of their repeated incompetency!! I'm happy you're almost there tho. I've waited since Oct and just spoke with them again today, she told me the caseworker raised a couple of queries with the Medical Professional who has responded already so she said I should get a decision any day now that they would write to me, somehow I was expecting them to call me. Is the caseworker the same as the decision maker then? Or have I just been told more crap so they can buy themselves more time to faf about some more? We should all wait until we get our decisions and then start a massive law suit against DWP for distress, stress and suffering!!

LoL, it is mental, so they are taking resources from one area to service another and they have to train them all on PIP, well hello, don't we have a mass unemployment rate whom some I'm sure would be more than happy to be train to do some work even if it is on a temp contract!! This Government are totally ineffective and utterly incompetent and individuals should be held accountable for their part in the PIP failing fiasco!! Rant over!!
