Tenth Anniversary 1,000 Posts Name Dropper I've been Money Tipped!
I would recommend advantage and indorex, I used advantage this year when my cat got fleas and it worked with the first treatment. The house has been treated within the last year with indorex but I didn't need to re-apply when he got fleas.

Called OH for supper and again Barnes was on his lap!
So had a serious talk with Barney - who just sat there smiling at me! lol, ok Barnes - its your way of 'bonding' with OH! but I do wish you would just sit on my lap and let me stroke you too!

earlier I put down his plate of supper - Sheba Terrine, Rabbit variety. he tasted it, sneezed and walk away. okayyyy..........left it for ten minutes then picked him up and put him in front of it - he obliginging ate a mouthful, spat it back out and walked away again! He doesn't like then! Atrix - 3 Sheba Rabbit Terrines down here for your cats!

he underlined his dislike by turning his back on me! (spoilt the effect a bit by looking over his shoulder to see if I was looking)!
yes I did give him a different one! not his favourite though. I wonder if he is going to turn his nose up at the Gourmet Perle Rabbit sachets? hmmm - will try those tomorrow.

well the Gourmet Perle rabbit sachet went down a treat! he really liked it!

Shock and Horror - I ran out of treat sticks! I totally forgot them last night when I went up the shop! so he didn't have his final treat after grooming - and he didn't like it! kept yowling at me, jumping up behind me and swatting me 'upside the head'! then sitting on the 'grooming rug'! ROFL Yeah Yeah Barnes - I know! I was only forgiven when I went up the shop and bought his Beloved Webbox treat sticks and gave him one!

being American he must understand Trick or Treat night - for a change, he took absolutely no notice of excited kids at the door! he didn't even come off the sofa never mind come to the door! lol usually I have to tell him to move from inside door so I can let people in..........but,tonight, Barnes was glued to the sofa!

I saw him 'playing' with something by the French Windows so investigated - jeez - I hadn't seen an insect like that before!!!!!!!!! it was over half inch long and had a 'sting' at least quarter of an inch! I was afraid to let him kill it (cos he eats them) so picked it up in a tissue - and that sucker took some killing! every time I thought it dead, it started moving again! I bashed it with my heavy rolling pin in the end! Yeeeeuchhh! I know it was an insect but I really don't like killing things! even things which could possibly cause me an allergic reaction. It had a stinger like a scorpion except it pointed the other direction and it flew as it had small wings. I have no idea what the hell it was!

no, it definitely wasn't a hornet. I have seen those before. it did look rather like a miniature scorpion with wings!

Yawn! was silly o clock start again today - and GS is on half term hols.
What a long morning! I shouldn't complain but he brought up some 'workbooks' and insisted on me working on them with him for the whole time he was with me! four and a half hours - Barnes got so bored he kept going back upstairs for a nap, then coming down to see if GS wanted to play, getting ignored and going back upstairs again! I was only allowed Two ten minute breaks for coffee and a fag! I mean its great that GS wanted to learn - but the workbooks were well below his age range! still - any knowledge is 'good'!

that cat (Barnes) has a weird sense of humour! OH and I were bickering and Barnes suddenly got up and jumped on sofa back, walked behind me - stopped right behind my head and farted! I heard it! he then jumped off sofa and went and sat by OH! oh gawd the smell! he then sat there smiling at me! I was laffing my head off OH looked puzzled til the smell wafted over to him! then stroked Barney telling him he was a good boy! that was it! I was completely undone, couldn't stop laffing!

well! would you 'adam and eve it'? Barnes doesnt like being picked up does he? oh yes he does!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but only if you flip him over onto his back and cuddle him like a baby! and scratching his back at the same time - he is in heaven!

Weird cat - I was always taught to pick them up a certain way and then hold them with one hand supporting bum and the other under the chest - Barneyboy doesnt like that!
but cradling? rocking him, scratching his back ................oh yes! he LURRRVVVESS IT!
