Its definitely after him using the tray - I can hear him building his sandcastle! He likes to cover the poo with a goodly amount of litter!

Flea wars - he was due in the next few days for his spot on frontline - and my order for Advantage and Drontal from the online place didn't go through! aand - I spotted a flea on him during grooming! so I HAD to use one of the pipettes of Frontline! it has to be better than nothing - and Barnes must think I have gone nuts - I am constantly parting his fur and looking for the dam flea! Am going to have to go pay PAH prices for Drontal as he is due for worming too - like yesterday!

Medicanimal really do deliver very quickly once the order goes through. For medications such as these though you do need to register the pet's details first though....very simple, just a few questions about age/sex etc

I used Animed - it didn't really explain the registration process very well and I tried to register while paying - probably blew up their server!
I will try again but, I have bought what I needed now so theres no
rush!

ahhhhhhhhhh quiet day today! no kids except for a flying visit by youngest GS who was convinced that his cousin would be here! Tears and Tantrums when she wasn't! which Barney watched with deep interest from the safety of the stairs! his parents wanted him to stay while they went shopping - !!!!!! that! I was busy on Ancestry and wasn't in the mood for dealing with a stroppy 6 yr old (plus I know that the shopping trip can easily take 2 - 3 hours!!!!! So I gave him a choice - either he take his coat and hat off and put a smile on his face if he wanted to stay ..................or he goes with mum and dad!!! rofl - he elected to go with mum and dad! he knows not to mess with me - so he prob thought it more fun to make his parents lives miserable! they haven't learned yet how to be firm with him, without shouting and losing their tempers.
Barney seemed a bit put out when he left - I think he was looking forward to 'ping pong uppa stairs'! his fave game with GS!

feeling a bit ropey this afternoon - the cold I have had for a couple of days is moving down to my chest, so stretched out on sofa this afternoon..............and yes, got a cat massage! now he normally massages my tummy, but, today he massaged my chest!!!!!!!!!!!! has he diagnosed a bit of chest infection? worked too - an hour later and I felt a lot better!
my last cat Nicki thought he was better at Reiki than me! he was always trying to 'take over' treatments! best laugh was when he regularly 'Reiki-ed' my sheepskin rug! I used to tell him 'You are on a hiding to nothing son - nothing is going to bring that sheep back to life'!
(btw, I am a Reiki Master Practitioner).
Barnes is comfortably ensconced on a cushion in MY place on the sofa, which is ok cos I am here instead! But, I bet as soon as OH leaves the room he will relocate to OHs seat! lol - I think he does it to wind OH up!

Have I told you all that in the last three weeks (since bath got booby-trapped)Barney 'announces' that he has had a poo? oh yes, we get treated to extremely loud yowls, which can only be described as 'Like a Town Crier'! even OH has got the message, and says to me 'I think Barney wants his litter tray cleaned!' even at 3.30am! I think he is challenging me - do I want to get out of a nice warm bed and clean up poo - or leave the bath available? no contest - The litter tray gets cleaned! he aint gonna win this one!

He scooped a ping pong ball out of his toy basket this afternoon, so I naturally thought he wanted to play 'ping pong uppa stairs', after five minutes of me throwing ball uppa stairs and Barney sitting watching and appearing quite entertained, I thought 'he is taking the P'! but luckily GS walked in then! So Barney joined in!
The local shop ran out of his webbox treat sticks last night so I bought the kitekat ones! rofl - I broke a bit off for him for his special treat after grooming - and he spat it back at me!!!!!!!!!!! tried another bit and that got spat back too! he doesn't like them then. luckily they had some in this evening so tomorrow he will have his 'usual' treat! otherwise it would have been a trip to town............yes I am that soft I would go over to town just to get his favourite treats!

OH is not best pleased with Barney................OH is redecorating the 'master bedroom' which means everything bar the bed is now distributed all over the other bedrooms! and for some reason he put the contents of the wardrobe on the spare bed ............and his new suit on top!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! rofl, now, Barnes has never been allowed in there - and its now so full you cant shut the door............!
Inevitable wasn't it? Barnes decided it was the perfect place for a kip!!!! his lovely new suit looked like 'mohair'! I shouldn't laugh, but, I couldn't help it! easily dealt with using a damp rubber glove, which I helpfully told OH - who insisted that a 'clothes brush' would do! after half an hour he gave in and donned the marigolds!

quiet day altogether - Barnes did enjoy GSs company this morning before I took him to school. but, apart from that he has had a very boring day!

I was out most of the afternoon as I had to go to a funeral. posted about that under the title 'rather strange funeral'.

OH still on his redecorating binge. He started glossing the landing and stairs last night and put masking tape down on the carpet by the skirtings. so this morning he was taking it off watched with fascination by Barney, who then proceeded to 'help' OH by picking at the edges of the masking tape til he had enough to bite and then pulling it up! he thought it was edible though and OH had to stop him from eating it! well, the two of them pulled up all the masking tape. so OH put down more in the hallway prepping for glossing the skirting boards down there ..............except that Barney was going behind him ripping it up again! lol! I had to keep Barnes in living room and every opportunity he was there - trying to join in with this brilliant new game of OHs!

ohhhhh, it was 'silly o clock' start again this morning - and I really am still feeling 'ropey'. Barney discovered that the hallway had been 'Taped' and I had the devils own job stopping him pulling it all up! Between watching Barnes and dealing with GS (who was in a moody this morning) I just wanted to go back to bed! had a terrible night last night - my chest felt it was on fire and I woke up every half hour or so with a coughing fit. Barnes hasn't slept with me for a couple of nights - preferring to spend the night on sofa in lounge - I must get on his nerves!
ROFLMAO - Barnes decides to jump into dining room through kitchen 'hatch' and lands smack in the lid of the tin of paint - panics, and runs through into living room and round the room and over both sofas before I could catch him! sigh - after dealing with painty paws I then had to spend an hour dealing with painty paw prints on wool carpet, leather sofa and on one wall! good thing it was emulsion!

I have come to the conclusion that I don't have a 'chesty cold' - this happened the last time OH redecorated - it must be the paint affecting my chest!
