    Hi Everyone

Well picked about 50 lbs of apples now peeling and cooking and freezing them!!!

Haven't stopped today but tomorrow the man who is living here (not DH cos DINGLEFOOT is still training him) is going fishing :j:j Peace will reign in LC2s house !!!

Can I have him back please DINGLEFOOT cos this one is worse!!!!

He very kindly brought me a cup of tea Sunday morning I thought it must be a really miserable day cos it was dark Oh No!! it was 6 o'clock he was going fishing!!!! Fancy waking anyone up at that time on a Sunday.
I hate fishing he keeps suggesting that I could go with him and sit and read. He must be joking I can read indoors with a nice cup of tea!!!

Now as I always keep on topic what have I potted ? Nothing!! Not one penny!!! There again I haven't been in a shop either.

    ((Hugs)) to everyone

    XLC2

Southernman - good luck with the interview, will have my fingers crossed for you.

I truly have a lovely sister-in-law (in fact I have 2). She has upgraded her kindle and kindly donated her old (but in very good condition) one to me. I finish Uni on 2 Oct until next February so very much looking forward to reading some non academic stuff. She is leaving all the novels she purchased on the kindle for me as well. I am a very lucky girl.

Crimson - I may be wrong but I think you posted the other day that you are starting with the Open University soon. I am just ending my third year with them. Having previous done a law degree at a brick Uni some years ago I was a bit apprehensive when I started this degree........but they are fantastic. The tutor support is brilliant and I never feel like I miss being with other students as each module has its online forums and people bounce lots of ideas around in them. And.......six years will fly by. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do. What are you planning to study?

Back on track.......I have a fiver in my purse and if its still there in 2 days then its going in the pot. If not then any change from it is going in the pot.

I haven't spent anything but there's a 2p coin I found on the bank when I went fishing yesterday just waiting to go in the pot. Just got to dig it out of my fishing coat pocket. :D

Hugs to all in need of one. :)

Welcome to our new potters. :)

Good luck with job interviews. :)

Thanks Lynsey...You are an absolute INSPIRATION to me, you really are....Next Year I hope to do as well as you...but for this Year if I can just get to between £200 and £250 I'll be ecstatic!!

No potting for me this morning as I haven't been out...but I'm off to College tonight and need to get a Radio Times and will probably pick up a quick bite to eat on the way home so I might have some change to Pot around Midnight tonight!!
  • Hello everyone

Hello to all the new savers too, aren't we doing well with new members. It shows how good we all are if people want to join in :D

I hope all the poorly people are feeling better now. It's the time of year when all the germs decide to come out and play :(

BTW I love the sound of fresh blackberries & apples with jams, crumble & pies .....Yummy! Shame we don't have any by us.....

Take care all, happy potting! x
