Yep Sue, that's definitely a good Plan.....these days I'm trying to wait until a Monday before putting money in....that way if I need to spend it then I dont have to take it out of my Pot...
So it's all staying put....
I'm putting another £5.50 in the Pot....that takes me over £80 :j
Might be putting in a few bits and bobs over the Week in change or Roadkill....but any Notes or large amounts won't be until next Monday....0 -
Another 56p gone in for me today!!0

That was my thinking Sue, but DH wants me to see her again at least once more as he said the change in me is so obvious its worth another £65 to see if another session makes it even better. Have still cancelled tomorrow as DH now has full blown flu and is struggling terribly with it, bless him it just wont break and he feels awful
Oooooooooo exciting email today, I won a 2 night B&B break in northumberland :j :j have decided to give it to my mum and dad though, partly because mum does so much for us its nice to give her something back and also because she seems very depressed at the minute and I think she might be having a rough time at work so something to look forward too will do her good
Hopefully some pennies in the pot later after ive done the PO run as sold a couple of bit on fleabaySPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £225/£10000 -
Hello
I am new to the forum, am I able to join the challenge please?
I have a penny jar which I am going to add to, with all my spare change.
Hopefully this will cover some xmas pressies as I really cannot spare any of my wages this year
Thank you

Hello everyone and thank you for all the lovely warm welcomes! :grouphug: Really happy to be in the SPC!
Sue, I'm happy to save up til this years deadline. Only 2 months but I love a challenge!
Just emptied my little yoghurt pot full of 5ps into my new SPC tub and have added some coppers that were lying around. Not counted yet, but there's a nice sound of coins swooshing around in there!
Hooray for the sunshine, it's motivating me loads!:hello: Trying my best to money save! :j:grinheart Sealed Pot Challenge 6 #2100 :grinheart0 -
Welcome Thrifty Fashionista - please come and join us....its fun, and a little bit addictive (but in a good way).
Sue UU will be along shortly to assign to you your very own, one of a kind, unique number that is all yours. In the meantime, and if you have not already, then the first page will give you all the guidelines etc......so have a read.
Oh and don't forget to post on here when you can.......its not that we are nosy.....we just like to know what's going onSPC No:118:j (6) £468.74 (7)

Welcome Thrifty Fashionista  you are most welcome to join the battiest group of people you are ever likely to come across :rotfl:
Have a good old read of post 1 as it contains lots of very useful information about the challenge and how we work
Sue is our fearless leader and she will pop up shortly to present you with your very own one of a kind number and ask you to add it to your sig, The very gorgeous Sparky is the keeper of the spreadsheet and our resident counter upper and he asks that should you remove any money from your pot for any reason (some of us prefer to bank as we go along, and sometimes things happem that just require some pennies we havent got) to pop the amount on your sig next to your SPC number so that it doesnt get forgotten on count up day
Now tell us all about yourself cos this is a right nosey bunch, dont listen to any of the slander about me or Lucky Charlie, we are very good girls! now get a potting and dont forget to keep your eyes peeled when out for 'roadkill' (pennies found on the floor) as theres nowt better than potting someone elses money that they were too lasy to pick up when they dropped it! :rotfl:

Hi Everyone
Well picked about 50 lbs of apples now peeling and cooking and freezing them!!!
Haven't stopped today but tomorrow the man who is living here (not DH cos DINGLEFOOT is still training him) is going fishing :j:j Peace will reign in LC2s house !!!
Can I have him back please DINGLEFOOT cos this one is worse!!!!
He very kindly brought me a cup of tea Sunday morning I thought it must be a really miserable day cos it was dark Oh No!! it was 6 o'clock he was going fishing!!!! Fancy waking anyone up at that time on a Sunday.
I hate fishing he keeps suggesting that I could go with him and sit and read. He must be joking I can read indoors with a nice cup of tea!!!
Now as I always keep on topic what have I potted ? Nothing!! Not one penny!!! There again I haven't been in a shop either.
((Hugs)) to everyone

Thank you for your warm welcome!
I am excited for the challenge. As you will see in my signature I have got lots of debt and desperately need to clear it. I am living back with parents after a messy break up, so at least I can afford to clear some of it now I am not paying such a high rent.
I am determined to clear as much as I can as soon as I can in order to get my own place again.
I am going to keep my pot untouched until November otherwise I will only spend it and I am doing this for xmas presents.
Thanks again for your welcome, heres to finding roadkill
