Sacrificed breakfast in the canteen for a cheaper one - total cost 88p instead of £2.48. 2 x £2 coins in my change and one shiney 2p - all for the pot - Ka-ching!
Hope you're feeling better DinglefootMFW 2013 #146 Target £6000

Added another £5 this Afternoon....
I've got £15 (one £10 note and one £5 note) in my Purse....But I've just bought my Shopping and I'm out for most of the Weekend (which I've budgeted for) so I shouldn't need the £15....If I still have any of it left by Monday Morning then I'll put it in my Pot....
Nearly up to £70 :j :T :j0 -
Afternoon all, hope those suffering are feeling better.
specialkthefirst - welcome and good luck.DreamerHelen wrote: »I'm getting there slowly....I'm determined this Year not to have to borrow Money to pay for Christmas!! I'm GOING to do it all by myself....even if it does mean that people only get one present each...
Good luck with this.
Spent just 57p in Mories last night (you wouldn't believe what I got for 57p lol) and put in a tenner in s/scan till and out popped 2 x £2 coins and 2 x 20p coins (along with £5 and coppers) = £4.40 potted.
£544+ potted so far.

I love potting money, I have 3 different pots - a terramundi which pound coins go in and the occasional note, a sealed tin which 50ps and £2 go in and another pot for everything else. I just open them once there full. Saving for a mortgage every little helps xox
Of course you can joinWelcome to the thread, it can become quite addictive potting money, and I find I've started scouring the ground for "road kill" every time I leave the house
Have you read the information on the front page? I bought my first house with my fiance last year, so I know what it's like saving for a mortgage...every penny here and there really does help
Sue-UU, creator of this wonderful thread will be along to welcome you herself shortly and she'll give you your potting number
Yay, everyone's doing really well today. Keep it up everyone :T
...I think I'm the only one who isn't, practically bed bound and losing a day's wages
Although the postie did bring some money off coupons and a part of my parent's C
present, (I'm trying to spread the costs out a bit more this year)
Thank you emmita, I'm still not great but just had a 3 hour or so nap, which hopefully will have helpedSPC '21 #0750 -

I just remembered to mention, I'm starting an OU course as of the 5th of October, (I received the materials the other day and am getting quite excited and a bit nervous :j). Therefore, I might not be around quite as much as I'm going to be trying to balance that, full-time work, trying to look after the house work and my OH and I. Luckily he's very supportive, so I'm sure he'll be cooking the majority of dinners for the next 6 years :rotfl:Yep, 6 years to do this course part time...I'm madAnyway, I will still be an avid potter as before, just don't worry if I disappear for a while

Woohoo, my OH just texted me to say he found 20p roadkill
He's getting good at this!
I will have something to pot today after allSPC '21 #0750 -
Just potted 60p in silver. Three coins were shiny little 5ps who we found huddled together on the car park when we dropped DGS off at college. Said coins are now safe and happy with their friends.
Hugs to all our poorly potters.
Welcome to our newbies. Enjoy saving.S.P.C. 9 2016 No. 062 Banked £337.50
