Sparky im beginning to think you dont want LC2 and I to visit you! but of course this cannot be true as we know how much you love us, and just think, if we came round your neighbours would probably move out after an afternoon listening to us :rotfl:

Jakes-Mum The front door is wide open waiting for you & LC2 if it meant the horrors moving out I'd welcome you with open arms. I would have to put ear plugs in when you visit though! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

(((HUGS))) to all who need them

Back on topic! 14 X £2 coins & 1 X 50p for the "You know where I'm going fund 2014" ;) Daily £3 potted, plus extra change to go into the sealed pot when I get home

  • Good evening everyone

LC a great idea of yours to have a small amount of cash for the street beggars, thanks for that. And thanks, Sue, some of them did look a bit spaced out and it crossed my mind that they might not spend the money on food....:(

Back on topic, just a small amount of change to pot (didn't bother to count it as it was just coppers) There's too much month left at the end of my money yet again :o

crimson re cheap meals try agirlcalledjack.com (of course prefix with www) I've found some amazing ideas and inspiration. Made the banana pancakes with a soft banana I would have normally binned and they were really easy and tasted great. DH was a very happy bunny! I agree with the comments about Jamie_O his food looks great but £10 for a side of salmon is just too much for 2 of us :(

Nite nite all, I'm off to bed to nurse an icky throat. Must have caught it off one of you poorly lot  Hope you are all feeling better now...x

£1.20 in the pot today care of FB :D love that selling page :j :j

ok, baked bean tarts (though I actually made 1 great big one in a pie dish )

Get a bun tin and grease each hole
line each with short crust pastry
get some cheap streaky bacon (or ham if you prefer) cook and chop up into small pieces
put a bit in each pastry 'case'
get tin of baked beans and put 1 spoonful in each case on top of the bacon
put 2/3 eggs in a cup and beat together until nice and mixed
top each case up with egg mixture and then pop in the oven on 190 until egg is firm (when I made the pie it took about 50 minutes it was so big and deep :rotfl:)

Oh yes I'll have to try that, thanks :)
    Nom nom nom :D

First roadkill in ages - 1p :rotfl:

  • So I've put another £2 and some change in the Pot (forgot exactly how much I put in cause I got distracted after I added it to my Total :o But it was just over £2)....

I'm getting there slowly....I'm determined this Year not to have to borrow Money to pay for Christmas!! I'm GOING to do it all by myself....even if it does mean that people only get one present each...

*Hugs* to all those that need them....Hope you are all feeling better soon xXx

I have no idea how I got through the work day yesterday but I managed it. I've taken the day off work today though, even though I really don't want to miss out on the money, things have escalated to the point where it would just be really stupid for me to go to work today.

Instead I'm spending the day in bed sleeping, keeping hydrated and reading etc...trying to keep nice and still and most importantly...rest! I felt so awful yesterday evening that I think I just made myself feel worse yesterday by pushing myself through the whole work day.

I dreamed that I was on an escalator and saw a 5p out of the corner of my eye at the top of the escalator, so had to continue down the escalator and then get the upwards escalator so that I could claim it as roadkill. It was very shiny too, shame it was a dream :D

  • Can I join in? I love potting money, I have 3 different pots - a terramundi which pound coins go in and the occasional note, a sealed tin which 50ps and £2 go in and another pot for everything else. I just open them once there full. Saving for a mortgage every little helps xox
