Hello All.....and a warm welcome to the newbies......you will love it with us, we are a friendly bunch.

I have been hidden under the duvet for a good few days, but emerging now and getting on with Uni essay.

Sue UU - plain yoghurt, blackberries and a little sprinkling of almond slices really is a lovely breakfast (or an evening dessert!). And its a great way to use lots and lots of free blackberries. Mum took my 8 year old niece out yesterday to get more blackberries. Niece loved it. I remember doing it when I was a kid and coming back with an ice cream tub of blackberries :)

As I have quite a few NSD I have treated the pot to a £5 note and some change which was approx. £3 worth.

Hope all are having a good weekend, and dinglefoot I do hope you start to feel better very soon.

Ty my Sue :kisses3: im certainly no-where near as nervous as I was about things and have decided to put off this weeks appointment with her to 1) see how I go and 2) at £65 a session I really cant afford 4 sessions a month oh and 3) DS has passed on his darn cold to me and DH (who has actually got flu now as bless him it always attacks his chest) so dont really want to be sharing my germs.
DH said 'how can you just keep going with this bloomin flu??' me: 'umm this is how I feel everyday so im actually not aware of feeling any worse ive just got a stuffy head and sore throat' :rotfl: see there are upsides to always feeling ill :rotfl:

Someone catch me *faints* DS has FINALLY paid me back the last of the money he owes me  a whole £10 was pressed into my hand this afternoon  the child is debt free, I honestly thought he would owe me money until the day I died :rotfl: so a lovely £10 note potted today and 81p in change :j :j

ooooo not long till pot opening day :D cmoooooooooooon november! I want to count up!!

Oh and hope your feeling better Nells, big healing hug to you :D

I'm still potting away, the odd pound here and there. Not sure when I'll open yet. I was planning on using it for Christmas presents but if I can spread the shopping out I might be able to keep on saving :D

Thank you nell, I hope everything's going well for you too *hugs*

22p going into the pot today. 21p change from buying my lunch and 1p my OH found on the floor of HMV. I'm beginning to think he's got eyes like a hawk, the amount of roadkill he's found me lately. I hardly ever find any :D

We won't tell a soul, Saver, after all, we're all doing the same thing. :rotfl: Except sparky who dips into his DW's purse! My DH couldn't do that...it's all in the pot!!! :j

Good for your hubby, Lynsey, we still refer to it as roadkill. You're Total's looking good to me. :D

You be sure to enjoy those special days, Kerry, make the most of them. Fingers crossed that work will pick up for you soon.

oooooh, Nell, plain yoghurt, blackberries and a little sprinkling of almond slices sounds absolutely delicious. We had blackberry & apple crumble again last night, my favourite. :D People are blackberrying all round here at the mo, plenty to be had though.

If you're feeling the benefits already, jakes-mum, then why throw more money away; wait and see how you go. ATB with the colds.

It's entirely up to you, pinkpig, just be happy with what you do. BTW don't mention that C word til next month, or there will be mutiny!

Brilliant saving, ETO, your little lad will thank you for that one day. ;) Is he nearly a year now?
So another £11.55 in the Pot.... :j

That's music to my ears, Helen, you'll be chuffed to little mint balls come November. :j Next year don't forget the 'holding pot' so you only save each week/month what you can afford to save so it can be kept safe. ;)
Have a good day, everyone, and keep up the GREAT work. :j
