Going to cash my pot in while I still can.

After regular 'raids' by my wife and more recently my eldest son for his football subs I can cash out at £26.97 made entirely of 1p's and 5p's! My wife and eldest took all the 20p's I'd chucked in otherwise I'm sure it would have been much higher!

Took forever to count last night but it's done for another year!

Of course you can join us, joowoo. A very warm welcome to you. :grinheart Have fun saving and enjoy the banter. You'll find your number at the bottom of the list on post 5 of page 1. Please read through post 1 as it'll let you know exactly what to do with the challenge.

Please also subscribe to the thread by clicking on "Thread Tools" (lower green bar) and clicking "Subscribe to this thread"...or you may lose us! To put your SPC No on, go to "Quick Links" (right side of top green bar), click and then click on "Edit Signature" and you're away. ;)

*Please pop your numbers on your sigs, it really helps.

I've added £6.46 today....that might well be the last amount that I'm potting....I might just pot my last fiver on Thursday and then that will be it for this Year....

Welcome to all the Newbies...Hope you enjoy being here with us....xXx

Sorry Helen, I totally missed you! That's because I was talking to my DD during the early part of the post; a lift wanted from DH or course, crafty. Well done, Helen, and I can't wait for Thursday to come for you! Will you be able to sleep tomorrow night, I barely ever do, seriously.

Hi Rosy and thanks for the welcome etc, though what happened to the "See the 1st post of the 1st page"?? Tut tut. You did well with the rest though, so thank you and here's a gold star :staradmin

Hello Gra76, lovely to see you back! Very well done on your savings! :T Though, err...what happened to the name Sealed Pot? Try doing so this time round - and :shhh: keeping it safe, as in hidden from view! ;)

Thank you for my number and the lovely welcome.

Today is my year's anniversary of joining MSE.

On my first day I did notice a lot of mentions of Sealed Pots, but MSE is such a big site, there was so much to look at for a newbie, I was completely overwhelmed!

I really only started looking at this part of the board a few months ago.

But I'm here now, and looking forward to the new challenge.

Just need to prepare my pot now!

  • I've recounted the left over cash from my doctors trip yesterday and I have £8.44 roughly. I do have £10 in my purse but I'm still doing the
£10 week challenge. Any change left over for the week will be potted :)

I'm all set up for SPC #7.
I've got two piggy banks now.
A proper piggy bank for SPC #7 (All other coins would go in) and
a sugar skull money bank for my emergency savings (£5 notes & £2 coins will go in there)

Hi everyone, and welcome to all newbies - can't believe how many new members we have joining our little gang. The thread is going mad at the moment, only been away for a couple of days and there are loads of pages and posts to read through...!

Well coming to the final hubby rummages of this year's challenge. I have even checked all pockets in his wardrobe in case there are any sneaky coins hiding. Have added a handful of shrapnel from my purse too (still eyes closed as I'm waiting for the big count up on Thursday) - so excited for count up day...!

Keep going everyone, Its the Final Countdown..!!!:rotfl:
