Hello all, cam I join please? Have been reading the thread over the last few weeks and am very motivated to take part!! Got two sealed pots on the go (started yesterday), one for gold and one for silver, the bronze gets chucked in another pot, oh I guess that's three pots then, is that allowed? I'm a little OCD, I don't like the coins being mixed up together

Hoping to save as much as possible, I want to be a millionaire! Even if it is a million pennies :rotfl:

It sounds like you're all ready to go now, Saver-upper, though try swapping the nervous feelings for excitement as that's what you'll soon get plenty of - and just imagine this time next year!! :j As you're not sure then why not go for what you've thought of above, at least you can have both a little security and surprise at the end. Thanks for that last bit, Lynsey, it really made me giggle (DH thought I was bonkers...still does ). You hit the nail on the head though as what with the actual SPC thread, I keep 2 Reminder/Notification threads going...along with my little helpers, Ruth, ETO & Modesty,bless those girls! :T Ere, I sound like Santa! :rotfl:Aside from that I used to be an Election Teller!

LC2 has your passport for Warrington run out? I think you’re only coming back so you don’t have to travel so far to D*bbies for lunch with your friend!

There have been some excellent totals declared so far and the spreadsheet is ready for more frantic action on Thursday, hopefully last year’s Grand Total will be smashed.

I've had my penny pots on the go this year and not really in a sealed way, so they've been dipped into occasionally! I've also been unofficially trying the £1 a day idea for the last 3 months and managed to put by an extra £100 towards Christmas, but I guess I'll be dipping into that shortly as December arrives at the weekend :eek:
So I'd really love to join in your happy challenge (and jolly thread) and try to put by that £1 a day plus all those other pennies in an official sealed up kinda way and aim for £500 by this time next year, please?
