Hello all, cam I join please? Have been reading the thread over the last few weeks and am very motivated to take part!! Got two sealed pots on the go (started yesterday), one for gold and one for silver, the bronze gets chucked in another pot, oh I guess that's three pots then, is that allowed? I'm a little OCD, I don't like the coins being mixed up together
Hoping to save as much as possible, I want to be a millionaire! Even if it is a million pennies :rotfl:Sealed Pot Challenge Member 151

We won't worry about the slight cheating, mummytummy, as a welcome is a welcome no matter how you dress it and that's the most important thing. Whoops! Almost forgot your gold star :staradmin
Thanks a lot, dinglefoot, I shall be watching. :shocked:Saver-upper wrote: »Maybe the answer is to keep a tally of,say, every second "pot",or -I'm not sure what else: something, though
It sounds like you're all ready to go now, Saver-upper, though try swapping the nervous feelings for excitement as that's what you'll soon get plenty of - and just imagine this time next year!! :j As you're not sure then why not go for what you've thought of above, at least you can have both a little security and surprise at the end. Whatever you decide - enjoy it!!
The Totals won't be much longer, mommyof4, though the Grand Total will be quite a bit longer as we always have a few [STRIKE]idle jacks[/STRIKE] stragglers who keep us waiting.
parsniphead, all the best in your quest to get as much as you can towards that double glazing, it makes perfect sense....and will keep you warm!Welcome to even more newbies - good luck and get next Xmas "free".
£737 potted. I want to get to a rounded £740 though!! (stamps feet).
Keep up the last minute potting.
Sue - great effort and work and reminds me of last minute campaigning for an election. lol
Have a star from me (:staradmin).
Lynsey
Thanks for that last bit, Lynsey, it really made me giggle (DH thought I was bonkers...still does). You hit the nail on the head though as what with the actual SPC thread, I keep 2 Reminder/Notification threads going...along with my little helpers, Ruth, ETO & Modesty, bless those girls! :T Ere, I sound like Santa! :rotfl:Aside from that I used to be an Election Teller!
Your top highlighted part sums up SPC too, brilliantly. No stamping of feet though, that's naughty. Thanks a lot for my star, Lynsey, I've got it on already! :j
What a start to the day, or end to yesterday, purple angel, well done on the 2p!
Loveactually, it's so good to hear you're happy here with us, not bad is it.Whoooohaay Sealed Potters!ONLY TWO days to go! So save all you can as it won't be long!
Please, EVERYONE, would you all check that you have your Nos on your siggies! Many thanks.Sue x

Good Morning everyone
Sorry to have been AWOL for so long, I have been checking in on you, just not posting, sorry! Thanks for being so understanding; it looks like the reign of terror is coming to an end now, thankfully.
A warm welcome to our newest members, hope you enjoy being part of the best thread on MSE, the gang are really friendly & supportive and some would say nosey!
Sue thanks for the updates, much appreciated XX
LC2 has your passport for Warrington run out? I think you’re only coming back so you don’t have to travel so far to D*bbies for lunch with your friend!
There have been some excellent totals declared so far and the spreadsheet is ready for more frantic action on Thursday, hopefully last year’s Grand Total will be smashed.

Hi there, sparky!!!
It's so good to see you back, all being well getting those demons behind you - soon!!
With regard to LC 2, the ASBO she had at Liverpool has expired. Seriously everyone I'm only joking....well, I dunno.....maybe I could be right! By heck the Pool'll know it when she's back! Perish the thought.
Ah, we love ya, LC 2, even if no one else does. :rotfl:
If we don't smash last year's Grand Total, sparks, then something's definitely wrong as we've a LOT of members joined since then. Can't wait to see what it is, once the stragglers have got their Totals in.
Tata then sparky, love to J.

Hello  Please can I sign up for the next challenge?
I've had my penny pots on the go this year and not really in a sealed way, so they've been dipped into occasionally! I've also been unofficially trying the £1 a day idea for the last 3 months and managed to put by an extra £100 towards Christmas, but I guess I'll be dipping into that shortly as December arrives at the weekend
So I'd really love to join in your happy challenge (and jolly thread) and try to put by that £1 a day plus all those other pennies in an official sealed up kinda way and aim for £500 by this time next year, please?Stash busting 2014 45 / 60 (balls of yarn)!
