Evening all! What AMAZING totals! Well, I've got to aim high for SPC 7, haven't I?!

Just a quick question, what is the best method?

You will indeed, Vicky, to the 1st bit! ;) To the 2nd, that's definitely a matter of choice. I'm one of those who loves a surprise at the end. You could always keep a rough total, writing down every other amount, so you're sure of a certain amount but still have a surprise..a security blanket if you like. Well done on the cash saved, always keep an eye out.
Sue, is it the colour or the size of it that needs changing, have changed the colour but if you need it bigger just shout.
Got 44p so far to add to my pot, just need to decide what I'm using!

Only the boldness, Mrs Cheshire, it just wasn't very see-able, much better now though, thanks so much. Make sure that pot is foolproof!!

Been lurking for ages , still potting a bit at a time - and looking forward to the grand count up in a couple of days :) Hoping I might have about £200- £225 fingers crossed

Unfortunately the 2nd pot meant for 2014 car insurance has had to be spent on oestepath appointments - bit gutted but also glad that I had the money there.

I think I will set my new target for 2014's sealed pot once Ive counted up this one so I have an idea of what I think is achievable.

Hi Donna, good to see you. A shame about the money needed for the osteopath, but as you said, it was so good to have it at a time when it was necessary. :) You still saved that though so be sure to include it!! Fingers crossed for the amount you're hoping for, but whatever it is, be proud as you wouldn't have had it if you'd not saved! ;)

Thank you so much, MissE, I'm loving it all, always do. :D

mynellie, I really hope you'll soon feel better. You've been doing some brilliant saving for the time you've been going, your Son too, very well done - so far! Aha! It's just sunk in that......I think, you've just given me your Total, is that correct?? If so, many congratulations!!! :T All the best for 2014.
However today i found my first bit of ROADKILL!!!! it was a measley 1p. Yes 1p, but it still made me smile, and I've potted it with pride :-)

There's no need to wait til the ned of the week, heyjude, I'd be potting it now! The sentence I've highlighted, I believe, means so much to anyone saving - a single 1p, but it's just your first, and it means so much to you and for that I am chuffed to bits!!! Well done!

You've earned a gold star for both your very helpful posts, dinglefoot, next time don't forget "read the 1st post of the 1st page" ;) :staradmin

Very well done, Beth, you're well away!!
Whoooohaay Sealed Potters! ONLY TWO days to go! So save all you can as it won't be long!

Please, EVERYONE, would you all check that you have your Nos on your siggies! Many thanks.

Right, today I have bought myself two tins. Not sure how I am going to work things:will probably put all £1 and £2 coins in one tin,and remainder in the second tin, with the occasional £1 or £2 thrown in to surprise myself with :rotfl:.
    Feeling abit nervous about starting...
I also haven't decided how closely to keep track of what I throw in the pot:I think I would like to have a teeny bit of an idea as to how much I have saved, but I also love the idea of a surprise at the end.
Maybe the answer is to keep a tally of,say, every second "pot",or -I'm not sure what else: something, though

    Morning all.

99p put into the holding pot last night.

I have decided after getting up earlier and nearly freezing that I REALLY need double glazing so as well as aiming for the £300 I want to try and get more to start of the double glazing fund.

    Morning all.

Welcome to even more newbies - good luck and get next Xmas "free".

I received 2 x £2 coins in my change last night, but asked to exchange 1 coin for 4 x 50p's. lol
So that's my 50p bag filled and only need the 20p's now and that's me sorted. I need milk later and I'll ask for 20p's in my change ................................ but not more than 15. :D

£737 potted. I want to get to a rounded £740 though!! (stamps feet).
5 x £2 coins in holding pot to start next year off.

Keep up the last minute potting.

Sue - great effort and work and reminds me of last minute campaigning for an election. lol
Have a star from me (:staradmin). ;)
