Moneysavingmomma, that's a great idea to put the money saved to help pay off your cc, however, you can still include that as part of your savings for your next year's Total. Just pop it on your signature so you don't forget.

oh that's even better Sue-UU!! Will keep my sig updated with the copper I cash in and pay off but hopefully there will still be a nice surprise of silver and gold by next Christmas :j

WOW!! That's amazing, jakes-mum!!! yay.gif Congratulations to you on saving in a GREAT way!!!!! :T I bet the whole household are a bit cockahoop today. I'm delighted for you, truly. :D

Ahh ty my Sue :D, the kids dont know yet but DH is veeeeeeeeery pleased especially as after the living room and Miss Lilys carpets we still have £360 left so I said DH and I could both have £100 each for ourselves (well me £110 and Dh £90 as he lost the bet ;)) and then im going to pop £30 in each of the kids secret savings accounts that ive been running since they were born but they dont know :shhh: and the last £100 will be put away for emergencies or a treat next year :D

I said to Dh that maybe I need to up my target next year but he said no as this way when I exceed it it makes the total seem even better :rotfl: so put me down for £600 again when you start the new thread please :D

That all sounds just the job, jakes-mum, happy faces all around, especially the kiddies when they're old enough to have that money. We did the same with ours and it gives them a huge start off in life.

BTW, I've put your Target down on the current tread, the same as all others, but I've also put 1 bold 2014 by them so I know I transfer them over to SPC 7.
Right then, Sealed Potters, just THREE days to save! So save all you can while you can!

Please, EVERYONE, would you all check that you have your Nos on your siggies! Thanks.

    I've been Money Tipped!
God!! You lot can natter. :D

Welcome to all the new ones - good luck, especially to next years total.

I'm struggling to get the loose coins needed, but managed to get 5 x 50p = £2.50 (still need 4 more to fill the bag!!). Still need those 15 x 20p's and don't think I'll get them now unless changing £3 on Wednesday when out. I'll just declare what I have on the 28th and get what I need at the post office. lol

    £735 potted so far.

I've also put another 2 x £2 into the holding pot and a start for next year. Not potted yet. :p

Keep going and fingers crossed the total smashes right through the £50,000 mark.

...and to think a good while ago you were wondering whether £600 would be doable, Lynsey! It just goes to show what can be achieved when you put your mind to it. Weill done!! I look forward to see it all on Thursday.

    Well done, LC 2.

Hi there, Emily, and once again, you have a wonderful holiday in Mexico and thoroughly enjoy the entire experience! Bon voyage and safe journies everywhere.

Hi Sue-UU, just a quickie. I won't declare the £50 for SPC 6 as I didn't do it properly and it's only loose change I've been throwing in my jar for the last few months. I'll start on Thursday and will be aiming for AT LEAST £500 next year!! DS2 has already been warned any dross he leaves lying around (as usual) will be going in the jar :)
