Sealed Pot Challenge 6 ~ Part 2

After scurrying around the house and searching everywhere I have £1.04 to add to my holding pot ready for the next challenge.:j

Emptied the copper and 5p pot tonight and instead of adding it to the sealed pot im going to pay it into the bank to throw at one of the debts instead. Its £12 so a little chunk and im still putting all the coins bigger than 5p in the sealed pot

Hi all I have counted and bagged my pot up ready to bank so My total with what i have used already is £365. I am working till late all week and wont get time to count so have done it today. I am very happy can't believe I managed to save that much.
So today I have bought 2 more tins one for £2+£1s and another for silver and copper i have started them off with what i cant bag up.
Aim for next year is £400. Wish me luck

Moneysavingmomma, that's a great idea to put the money saved to help pay off your cc, however, you can still include that as part of your savings for your next year's Total. Just pop it on your signature so you don't forget.

OK DH the little scoundrel took a tin opener to my £2 coin tin :eek: and we counted it up and bagged it ready to change up at the bank tomorrow, good job too as I only just had enough bags for that tin so need a shed load more for the big tin :eek:

We are going to count the other tin tomorrow as 1) we want to go to M&S and all my vouchers are in there and 2) DH's parents are coming to visit this week so we want to get it out the way before they arrive as it feels a bit wrong to count up a load of cash in front of them IYSWIM.

Anyway there was £402 in the £2 coin tin, so the lonely £2 has gone in next years £2 tin to start it off, will declare full total tomorrow when we have bagged it all up
