Evening all! What AMAZING totals! Well, I've got to aim high for SPC 7, haven't I?!
Just a quick question, what is the best method? Keep a running total, have a vague idea of what's in there or leave it to be a lovely surprise at the end? Happy to fit in with what other people find works best!
By the way, found 20p on my bedside table (how did I miss it???) and 51p elsewhere. :j :j
Hi VickyA - I think whatever works for you will be the best method. I have absolutely no idea what's in my pots. I think I may be tempted to take some out if I set a target then managed to hit it. Others like to keep a running total so it's completely up to you :T
DS forgot to get my bank bags the other day - I picked them up this afternoon. Some more shrapnel potted today only to be freed on Thursday. I cannot wait :j :j
Thanks for keeping us going Sue :ASPC Member #112 :A Save £2k in 2014 # 160 :money:0 -

Whatever you find is best for you, there are people on here that come under all 3 of those headings. Im a chuck it in and have a big surprise at the end, some keep a vague total so they still get a bit of a surprise but have the motivation of an rough idea of how much they have saved, and a few have either tubs that count the money for them or a spreadsheet to keep a tally!SPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £225/£10000 -
I'm another person who just puts the money in and waits for the surprise at the end
Still nothing potted, but still got that £5 note so fingers crossed I'll be able to pot that on Thursday when I get paid, just in time to open the pot
Can't waitThen I can start wedding dress shopping
