  • Ah my sister has coeliac disease and i have gluten sensitivity (though its way too expensive for me to currently live gf as a poor uni student so i suffer through the pain of mine) and we had a pretty normal diet, we had pretty much everything! we had chicken schnitzel and pasta that was gluten free and the like... though with a nut and dairy problem added in, that is going to be tough indeed! VEGETABLE TIME!

Nothing for today yet... I did want to go out but I don't think it'll happen because of how ill I feel.

  • Hi everyone,

ermmmm Sealed potter 159 signing in looking sheepish.

I used to do this challenge and loved it! However once I learnt to drive I constantly needed change for the parking of the car so I kinda gave up.

I have my trusty coke can and I am either very late for this year or early for next year!

    Love Buffy
    Nevertheless she persisted.

    Hi All,

I have been banking the contents of the large sealed pot that was full and the total came to £353 plus some odd pennies. I have banked the £353 and updated my signature. The odd pennies went back into the new sealed pot I have been adding to over the last month or so.

Plan is to use the new pot monies to get the rest of Christmas pressies. I started early this year and have been buying a present a month, plus yesterday I used the £25 I had collected on my nectar card to buy a very nice bottle of whisky for step dad that has gone up as his Christmas present :)

4 x 50p in the pot today from a FB sale, bit :( today as DH has taken our Renault in to the dealer today, we've had her 6 years and she was a good little car :(

New car will be ready on 25th but as the new reg comes out on 1st sept we have put back collection till the 3rd so we can have a 63 plate :D we would have kept the old girl till change over day but her mot is up 24th and her tax at end of month so garage said just drop her in now to save us the money. I think she's in line to be rehoused at a breakers yard :(:( so there really was no point mot'ing her anyway

£1.40 potted today leaving me no money at all in my purse! New budget starts tomorrow and not planning to leave the house so shouldn't need anything....

I've got my regular monthly savings for Christmas and was going to use SPC for Christmas extras.....I've now decided that my SPC money will go towards a much-coveted Ipad. I just can't justify spending that amount of money on myself but hoping my SPC fund will make a dent in the cost. In fact, I think I'll just keep potting until there is enough.

    Happy weekend everyone :A

Afternoon all, just thought I'd pop on here to [STRIKE]get out of tidying up[/STRIKE] check everyone was hunky dory!! :D

Going to pot my last 20p in a second, think my pot may end up being used for things for the new house (when we finally move in)! Been making a list of the things we need to buy straight away and another list for things I've seen that are lovely and I [STRIKE]want[/STRIKE] need as soon as I can afford them! :D

Bought DD a wet suit today from the sailing club, it was brand new and they asked for a £20 donation. I think I could have probably got it cheaper but I didn't want to look tight or stupid and the money is going towards their fundraising so thought I'd better cough up. They were very helpful though and at least I'll know what I'm doing for next time. Then got her a rash vest from the local 'funky beach' shop which was half price. Just need to get her a windproof jacket now....the original fact0ry shop has them on offer at the moment so will try and check those out later. Not quite sure how I'm funding this yet....come on payday!!! Things will get better once we get to September and DH's two days of freelancing in London start up again. ;)

Right, I should really tidy up or sort stuff or start packing or something.....have a lovely weekend everyone! :)
Saving for Disney again, oops why book one Disney holiday when you can book two!
