So sorry to hear your sad news untouchable. :(

So I know I haven't been around for a few weeks, but I can't believe you moved and everything!!! Good job you left a forwarding address!! :D

Been potting the odd bit of change, but not much. The food budget just is not stretching till the end of each month!!

Still no news on our housing moving front. The people we are buying from gave up on the house they were buying and found another one. We were all hoping for a 4 week turn around but we are half way through week 2 and still aren't getting anywhere fast!! Blooming solicitors, stretching everything out to justify their existence and high fees!! On a positive note, we are going to the house tomorrow for a measure up which is exciting!!! :j

Sorry to hear that some of you have been poorly. Hope everyone is feeling better now and that those who do...are enjoying the summer holidays! ;)

DD went for a dinghy sailing taster session yesterday evening and promptly feel in love with sailing....hmmm should have probably thought about the cost of this hobby before letting her try it!!:rotfl: Turns out it isn't quite as expensive as we thought it might be....still have to find a way to pay for the rest of this season though!! Mind you if you live by the sea might as well learn how to sail. :) She was so cute, helping to pack up the boat afterwards, very good for her confidence and independence. ;)

    Happy potting everyone! :D
Saving for Disney again, oops why book one Disney holiday when you can book two!

  • Still potting away, little and often. My friend Cathy is also potting a bit more haphazardly though.

I have to laugh, each time she visits me she puts a little something in my pot!!! I try to tell her to concentrate on her own, but she still does it!!!

At this rate she is effectively paying for her own Christmas Present

I have a second pot too, that I put the really small coins in, and am planning to change this up soon and add to the "main" pot

    keep plugging away everyone

Baby is due in November and my first, so going to be a big life-change and shock to the system after spending years being able to do what I want when I want! Can't wait though to meet the little man though, although my wallet may not agree :)

One for you also, Ruth, :staradmin thanks for explaining about the pots. Did you have a good weekend with your Bro and his family?

Sincere condolences to you, Untouchable, it's a terrible time when we need to say goodbye to those we've cherished for so long, hold her in your heart and she will never be far away.

A fantastic bargain, little_sweetie! :T That £1 could be a potentially great little earner, well done! :j

Sue - Cuddles duly passed on to my little man, who is growing way too quickly. He is so adorable though. We have lovely smiles and chats every morning. :D

Ahh, thank you, ETO, he sounds simply adorable, you can be forgiven for not potting too much...you're far too busy! ;):A

Aha! There you are, LC 2..and about time too I might add. No, seriously I do understand, lovely to see you back. Good luck with those shoes, what a let down!!

Yeah I'm sure SUE will let me and you make out it's November, cos she is really kind and loves us :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Oh NO she won't, LC 2, :naughty: behave yourself or I'll have a gold star back - either that or the naughty bench is empty, though not at the same time as j-m!!

Fingers firmly crossed for you, mossy, I do so hope it won't be much longer.

Good see you, ChristmasCarol, what a lark when you need to take more care of your friend's pot than your own!

    I've been Money Tipped!
    Morning all.

sparky0107 - where did you go in Malta? Somewhere where we haven't been (yet) and on our list. Maybe next year?

    Potted 2 x £2 coins (first of them for a while I think) = £4 potted.

    £485+ potted now and just 15 more shiny £'s to go ......................................... or 7 x shiny £2's and a shiny £1. lol
    I think I've gone OTT a little. :o
Still over 3 months to go!!

    Take care all.

I haven't posted for a very long while on here :o

I was doing quite well looking forward to a lovely Christmas and then car decided to be dead!
After all the costs I have pretty much zilch in the bank and had to break into the sealed pot :( However it's not all bad I only counted out and took what I needed, so I maybe £35 down but there's still a lot of change there and Christmas is still going to be good!

Still looking forward to counting it all up and seeing what yummy food I can get :D

    Happy Friday everyone :)

    Good morning Everyone

Did you see that JAKES-MUM ? Sparky is pleased we are together I knew he loved us :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Can't wait for our trip to Skeggy :j:j

SPARKY Glad you have the scooter back but think you might need a seat on it I think I might have a spare cushion if that would help.

Glad the neighbours from hell are away you never know they might get lost on the way back.

    Oh SUE !!

The shoes belonged to DH ended up getting a full refund as they didn't have a replacement then spent the whole afternoon looking for another pair. He likes Mxrks ones cos they are plain
anyway managed to get him some (They were trainers) reduced from £49.99 to £12.50 :T:T

Thought about keeping the difference his others were £40 but that is mean isn't it :rotfl::rotfl: So went halves with him So I potted £20 !! Yes I know that's not exactly half but it's near enough and he was pleased and he did have really nice trainers
so it was a win win for him wasn't it??

    Oh! STILTONCHEESE

A November baby just in time for the pot opening you will be able to spend all your pennies on your baby :rotfl::rotfl:

Hope everyone is well Take care
