Sue - Cuddles duly passed on to my little man, who is growing way too quickly. He is so adorable though. We have lovely smiles and chats every morning.
Nothing potted since last post, but hoping to have small amount to pot at the weekend.SPC 18 Target £200 /0 -
Thanks for the welcome everyone.Mishmogs, I love the name too....especially the really ripe picture in my avatar. Makes me laugh every time I log on!
Have read through the front page and found myself a nice jar to tape up and use. Decided I won't bother actually setting a target as I am so late in joining, so anything at all saved between now and end of November is a bonus. I will then be able to set a target for next year and do a full challenge.
Looking forward to seeing how much I can save from ad-hoc spends and the food budget whilst off on maternity leaveDebt free since May 20150 -

Can I just ask.....the stars in people's signatures, are they for completing the challenge each year? How does one go about getting a star from Sue, I am coveting one, but not prepared to spend or get into debt for itDebt free since May 20150

Ooooo stars are very sought after on this thread, you get them from Sue-UU for being a lovely helpful person to other SPC'ers so for nice welcomes to newbies with info on how our challemge works, or posting info that will help other posters, ie if you find a really good deal somewhere or how to get something for free (as we are all about money saving) or someone on the thread posts a question and you take the time to research the answer for them and explain it all to them then Sue might be moved to allow you a star. BUT she doesnt just hand them out willy nilly, she has to believe you've been really really absolutely specially good and helpful.

Noooo, my dear, stars are awarded by our lovely leader Sue-uu whenone of us is particularly welcoming or helpful to othersNo one expects you to spend or get into debt, quite the opposite. Stars are given on merit so just be extra good and one of these days you could be a proud owner of one yourself!
Welcome to the challenge and enjoy the ride! :rotfl:

There are 2 bears, is it the one with the walking stick you've 'smelt' or the one without? :rotfl: We have the one without (so it doesnt talk) and I can hardly smell the strawberries at all, its just like walking past someone wearing a squirt of perfume, you just get a faint whiff of him :rotfl::rotfl:
It's just the cuddly one, no walking stick..... Still think it's yuck lol.stiltoncheese wrote: »Looking forward to seeing how much I can save from ad-hoc spends and the food budget whilst off on maternity leave
