Morning All,
Another £1 in the pot this morning. Off to the cinema to see Smurfs 2 with niece and nephew this afternoon so undoubtedly will come home with some more change for the pot. I am feeling very very well this week and still have another week to go before cycle number 3 of the chemo. Am also collecting my wig later today. Not so sure how I feel about that but am going to be a brunette for the next couple of months instead of a blondeSPC No:118:j (6) £468.74 (7)

Thank you everyone for your kind words. I've been at quite a loss the past few days to the point where I've been physically ill and still am and just haven't wanted to get out of bed (reluctantly did this morning to take the children to school!) but life is going to move forward so I'll remember her fondly.
$4 into the pot... my guess is at $250 now!Sealed Pot Challenger #2080 2013

Thank you for my star. Sue it was absolutely lovely seeing them again but once they're gone i miss them so much and its like they were never here
How is you potting going? With responding to us all and looking after us you seem to sometime forget to update us with your goings on.
I have been working so much recently that i haven't managed to get my room sorted and it seems to be getting worse! I am going to make a point of starting it tonight and tomorrow morning and treat my pot according to how well i've done

Oooooooooooooo lots of pennies in my pot today
DH and DS went to the shop for me and came back with just a ton of silver coins in the change! Well it would have been rude not to pot it, plus DS finally coughed up for his new bike grips so that went in too
On a morenote, am very  and
, mum and I have been experimenting with my fod to try and get me actually eating and it seems that I am correct and I cannot tolerate dairy products which means no chocolate, ice cream etc. I do seem to be ok with the tiniest bit of milk in my tea (if I stick to 3 cups a day or less) but also biscuits and cake are a no go which I assume is the high quantities of butter
. I use scraping of utterly butterly so my sandwiches are ok but still, the thought of no haagendaz for the rest of my life is just
I must have really narked someone off in a previous life!

Feeling a bit frustrated that I have a shiny new sealed pot and nothing to put in it following 2 NSD's in a row and 2 more planned over this weekend!
So, decided it makes more sense for me to use my terramundi pot for £2 coins only (it suggests you use £2 coins on the front) and put any other loose change I have into the sealed pot. Apparently the terramundi can hold upto £1500 in £2 coins if no other coins are used so might as well use it as intended.
That meant using a knife to tempt out the few coins I had put in there in the last couple of months. Came to a grand total of £14.17p. Not sure where the odd 17p came from as was only putting in £1 coins, but hey ho.
Sealed pot virginity broken and £14.17 currently in there
Hope that's not considered cheating?Debt free since May 20150 -
Jakes-Mum that's rubbish.
My friends son is dairy intolerant and there is a nice icecream that he can eat. I think Tesc0s etc sell it, and the lovely Waitr0se sells vanilla and raspberry flavour. Maybe not quite haagendaz but better than nothing. x
Potted 10p today...way haa, seriously seriously broke until pay day, four days to go and counting!!!
Handed in our notice on the house we rent today!! :T So the solicitors have four weeks to get their acts together so that we can exchange and complete on our house. We are ready to go but our sellers still need the paperwork and searches doing on the house they are buying. However their mortgage offer came through earlier this week and there were no problems with the valuation so that's good.
Also found out that under the carpet in the living room is parquet flooring...mmm lovely, so exciting...they weren't sure what condition it was in, I was delighted DH not so much ha ha!!Saving for Disney again, oops why book one Disney holiday when you can book two!:starmod: Emergency Fund Savings - #148 - £10/£1000 1% :starmod::xmastree:#083 SPC6 £63 - SPC7 £90 - SPC8 £63 - SPC9 £54 - SPC10 £26 - SPC12 £70 :xmastree:0 -
Ahh mossy, ty! Tis indeed better than nothing, I've got to start trying some of the dairy free milk (once my tummy settles back down) so will add those ice creams to my list of things to try
am also wanting to try the dairy free chocolate. Seriously with ds and his coeliacs and me with the nut allergy and now dairy problem, this house will never eat normally again
