How can asking for love be out of God's plans? This is where my faith is struggling.

No it's not inappropriate at all. Just remember though that the person God chooses for you (if He does) may not be what you expect. Just be open to God and what He wants for you.

From experience I can say that if God chooses someone for you then he will be the most wonderful gift. :A

Kara's grandfather suggested giving her Pedialyte, a supplement used to combat dehydration in children, but Leilani Neumann said that would take the glory from God.

Dale Neumann testified that the possibility of death never entered their minds. After the girl died, Leilani Neumann told police God would raise Kara from the dead.

Doctors gave evidence that Kara would have had a good chance of survival if she had received medical care before she stopped breathing."

Or enjoying life as a singleton, making the most of what you have?

Personal responsibility, not wishing, will help with finding love

That is a terrible case but very much an exception. Any Christian I know would call a doctor and also for prayer. The two can and do work together.

"If" is the key word; my faith used to be stronger but for the "ifs" and "no's".

No its not wrong to ask but it may not be his plan for you.

Genesis 2:18 Tells us that when God wanted Adam to have a wife he bought her to him.
