DS3 has violently unchucked, so glad my new sofa has not arrived! Seat covers to old one in the wash now.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0

DD is home and has asked if she can do the ironing. Once she's munched her way through some strawberries she can get on with it.
I'm going to do accounts while she's occupied.
WM x3, TDx3, beds made, lunch munched, personal accounts updated. Now time to get stuff done...Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Well I'm not doing to badly today - I'm currently filling my 6th bin bag of rubbish so a trip to the tip will be in order tomorrow. I've just being having another declutter in the LR while I watched CSI so I'm going to pull the settee out now and hoover under it as I've moved all the stuff from around it and I've also emptied the hoover. WM is on again although the clothes don't seem to be drying very well - must be because there's no wind but it isn't that hot - just dull.
CY - are you still feeling calm? I bet DD is just excited!NST #10 Steps 7K 2/30 10K 2/12 5 a day 3/30 NSD 0/20

I've sorted hospital bag finally.. DS2 had my bag away with him last week. It seems really empty for some reason.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
I am literally spinning. DD1 is doing a shift at the charity shop. DD2 is planning her new bedroom. DS's g/f has got the keys to the house.
This time tomorrow I will be a bit more relaxed!
Julie DD1 is so stressed by the whole thing. I know she will be fine - I will put her on the train (it starts in York) and she has to go 2 stops on the tube. Her oyster card has money on it. Once she is at the youth Hostel she will be fine! Give it 24 hours and I might be calming down.
Given that DS is moving out I am going to be ultra busy while she is away. Sadly not doing what I had planned to!:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -

:D I keep being made fun of in group because one of the girls says she has to keep looking up some of my words in a dictionary. There are worse things to be made fun of though.

I guess I can now confess that I did invoke Bastet to look after him - it was all I could think of to do under the circumstances.:o
CY calming vibes; and a presentation box of spoons for DD1;)
I'm afraid I'm back to mooching about doing little tiny bits as best I can today - no spoons of my own at all, and Mr LW has failed to leave me any of his, naughty boy.:o Still, spuds and sausages have been cooked for the requested sausage salad for tonight's dins, so we shall at least be fed.:D I've also done the very important task of checking and paying Mr LW's credit card bill.;)If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
CY I'm working in London tomorrow and have flexible hours - and a one-day travel card all zones - I'm very happy to meet your DD and see her onto the tube if it will help her?
I know neither of you know me but there are some flyladies who have met me in real life and - I hope - will vouch for me being of reasonably sound mindI just thought it might help if she knew there was going to be someone to meet her. Don't want to interfere though, just pm me if you need x
Had an unexpected phone call from a client wanting to meet to give me some paperwork - and a cheque :money: - so that's taken up most of the afternoon so far. Back to it now.
ETA welcome roxy - nice to have you in the gang :T*If you have nothing nice to say... say nothing*"Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that." Martin Luther King Jr0
