    Morning all

escellent new for bothe Natty and CY -

Got a bid on an ebay item. Old lawnmower! Clutter out and cash in! yay!

Got a question on another item - bike; collect only. Will I deliver to Manchester?

    erm no.

    Why would you even ask?

AF is here - this expalins my ravenous eating behaviour of the last few days - and the two together the bloat.

    Docs later. *cof*

Ibuprofen scoffed, am hoping backache will go...

washing out on line - almost all DD's stuf from y not. Plus the *&&^^$&^%&^% tissue she must have left in a pocket. In a black load. *ROLLS EYES MADLY*

Am going to my sisters tomorrow, I think. All DS's clothes are constituting a great, unwashed floordrobe. I suspect I will be returning to a 'child' wearing either football kit or not much at all :rotfl:

I have admin rights on ALL the childrens computers, including DS2's and he is nearly 18.

They are not allowed on any video streaming sites, cannot play age restricted games/videos etc. the girls computers are under total lockdown and they have to have sites allowed depending on what they are for.. most are schoolwork ones and research for school projects.. wiki is blocked as an unreliable source so they have to look elsewhere :p

I have adblockers and spam filters and antivirus software which I update all of frequently and they can't do a thing without my password.

I am mean and oppressive but I know they are safe. I also get weekly updates on what sites they have accessed and their browsing histories.

Think I might add Wiki to the block list, I'd forgotten about that one ;) Ex has a programme called "log me in" on it as well which means he can remotely access DDs computer to fix it or install software. It's very handy and I was tempted for a moment to ask if I could have it on mine so he can try to fix the problems I have...then I thought better of it ;) I trust him but I don't trust him at the same time if you know what I mean. I know he wouldn't deliberately snoop (he's become an eunuch if he did ;)) but he's my ex and as much as we get on now, he doesn't need to know stuff ;)

    Morning all :D

Had an unplanned lie-in this morning, I was actually able to sleep last night once the man outside having a loud conversation with himself got out of ear shot. Its normally quieter round here when the students aren't about but not this year  Someone is moving in to the house over the road and have been banging around since 9am otherwise I'd probably still be in bed :o

One wash load in, towels to go in next. Its significantly cooler and overcast here. The thermostat is reading <20C :j I still have all the windows open to let some air through but I'm off to find fluffy socks and see if I can find something to put on over my much improved sunburn. I'm actually chilly!

Going to install some add-on bits on DD's laptop so it spell checks etc in the browser and I might stick a film on that while I do some accounts. I only have 3 months to do to have them right up to date so I want to get that done while DD isn't here. I'll do some dailies and tackle the kitchen later when she's home.

Now where have I stashed my warm socks.....

Tomorrow is charity stuff plus I've wee Eva tomorrow night then Thursday is up at charity garden to help with weeding and whatever else needs done. Friday we're heading to the beach house for weekend with a fireworks display on Saturday night. :D

i used to use the drops on the back of the neck every month, i combed through occasionally which roger hated but i never found a flea once i started using them. when we first got him hed got a bald patch on his chest vet said it was stress grooming so couldnt use flea powder there incase he licked it off. i know the drops work out dearer than powder etc but i thought it was worth it for the time and stress it saved both me and the cat. i remember in the early days of cat owning spotting one and spending an hour locked in the bathroom pinning him down to comb and search. i think we both hated it and in all the years we had him he never willingly went into the bathroom on his own. LOL

im guinea pig sitting at the mo - forgot how noisy they are specially when they squeak, these two seem to have hollow legs i put a bowl of food in first thing and they trough away till its gone then by mid afternoon they are squeaking and pushing the dish round, im giving them cabbage and carrots as well. can you over feed guineas? i put an extra bowl in yesterday to stop them squeaking and they wolfed that down as well.

Most of the drops are useless now.. we discovered the advantage ones last year and they've been so much better. 2 of mine have flea allergies one of them is very severe and she ended up being put under anaesthetic last year and shaved and having 4 months of steroids, AB's and creams to sort her out so we have to be very vigilant with her.. the slightest hint of an itch and she is done. That means we have to do the other 5 and the rabbit too!!

Frontline has become absolute rubbish since being available OTC or maybe the bugs are just immune to its effects now... we may as well put water on these!

I've not seen a single flea on mine this year.. I have found them on OH's mums moggies the last 3 times we've been there though and OH and Squeak were bitten! :p
