Valli - I have a wardrobe listed with all the dimensions - just had a message asking for the size of the wardrobe, I've replied they are in the listing - feel like blocking them before they get any idea of bidding and causing me hassle.

They are funny - don't read descriptions then moan/complain.

I had a message asking me how many gears on bike.

Funnily enough that was in listing too.

Someone's just been to see it and 'claims' one of the gears needs adjusting. Fine. Don't bid then;)

Hello flyladies, I hope you don't mind me joining you. I have been an MSE lurker for a good while but your inspirational thread has convinced me to sign up.

DS1 and DS2 live with me full time, DD lives with her Dad most if the time but they're all away for two weeks so I'm using the time to try and get my house scrubbed top to bottom.

Yesterday was the living room, if it didn't move I scrubbed it, if it DID move I chased it then scrubbed it anyway :)

Today I have moved onto the kitchen -- thought I was thwarted as we had no hot water after having the boiler serviced yesterday  but turns out the engineer forgot to turn the gas back at the meter. Unfortunately I didn't discover his mistake until I'd already scrubbed my disgusting cooker hood in cold water. Onwards and upwards.

    Anyhoo, today I plan to:
Strip DD and SD's beds and wash,
Iron and make up beds of DS1, DS2 and SS,
    Wash and polish kitchen bin,
Scrub all kitchen paintwork including skirtings, door and frame, units and kick strips,
    Clean out the fridge,
Clean the microwave inside and out,
Pull out fridge and freezer and clean under and behind,
    Clean out the hammies
Sweep and mop every inch of floor as opposed to my usual slapdash efforts and
Start sorting and cleaning cupboards inside, depending on how the afternoon runs away with me.

It all looks daunting when it's written down…

  • Well done LisaJane and FizzWhizz - welcome - keep going, slowly but surely!!

My plan of hiding from the world has worked a treat - I can't see or hear anything I don't want to and I've got loads done!! Just having lunch now.

More laundry is being done ready to go out when the gurning twins leave about 4pm. DW on. Phonecalls made and family meet ups organised for the end of the month. This afternoon my study area and bookshelf need emptying, dusting, sorting & reorganising. I may even crank up the excitement and sort all my files, folders & plastic wallets!!

Have a happy flying day, 'see' you later :D

I haven't managed any flying as DGD was dropped off to me before I was properly awake.....

She is decluttered to bed for her nap and I am catching up on paperwork.

Kitchen will have to be done tonight, though I did sweep and mop the floor last night. It is a daily job as the dogs are moulting badly.

They need to have flea treatment but I have avoided it while DGD is here. Another job for tonight and then keep them apart, babe and dogs that is. emoticon-animal-020.gif
