Plus a fruit portion.
I think the only "fruit portion" I had yesterday came in the form of cider. I did try a nectarine but it had gone squishy
Hammies done, probably should have done this before sweeping as the fresh sawdust got everywhere. Mop retrieved and kitchen floor deminged.
Calling it a day, only the boys beds roll over to tomorrow, not an issue as SS isn't here til Thursday and my boys aren't back til a week Monday. Enjoying the peace for now but will be missing them terribly by Friday
Not a bad afternoon's work!0 -

I didn't let her until recently so its a novelty. I didn't learn until I was 10 and at Guides doing my laundress badgeShe takes forever though and sometimes I have to take over, but each time she's getting better so hopefully with plenty of practice over the summer she'll improve
DD is still ironing, this weeks is nearly done but there's a lurking basket for her still to do... I'll let her do that tomorrow though as I'm nice like that :rotfl:
My paid stuff accounts are up to date :eek::eek: This is a rare event, but its happened!!! Just need to check something I've bought and how to account for that before I can put that in.

Time to put all these papers away and make the place presentable. I'm thinking I might fling a facepack on tonight. I'm peeling like mad on my forehead and its irritating the life out of me as it keep flaking off when I'm doing stuff :mad:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -

I'm having one of those days. Got up and got DD and I ready went to the hairdressers and my appointment is for tomorrow ! So I went into the market got the fruit and veg and a few other bits and bobs came home without carrots, decided to have a cuppa and a Danish and then fell asleep on the floor to 4pm! So I've sorted and decluttered dinner and cleaned the bathroom off to do a bit more!I'm not a muggle...I'm just magically challenged0

Hi FizzW
Frodders - seems to be lots of people wearing blue walking across the cricket field! I give you a wave back. And agree, maybe we could arrange a mini-meet halfway soon..
Dusty - hope DS3 is not upchucking any more...
tarotangel - today was a good day because I got to leave at 3pm - taking some of the hours of TOIL owed to me!
Oh Valli! Snowballs! I soooo remember them from my very early pub-going yoof days. That's what ladies drank then! But mine never seemed to be quite as exotic as your Alf's
Did the day job thing. Got home and dysoned and dusted my bedroom. Started packing for the trip up north tomorrow and will finish that soon. Also sorted out bed space for DD who is going to stop over for the duration.
Checked work emails from home (why?) and found there's a potential crisis looming and have suggested solutions but reminded people I'm on leave but could do stuff if necessary late Thurs and on Fri.
Now off to cook something for dinner - pasta twirls with bacon, veg and tomato methinks...I am the leading lady in the movie of my life
