Scammed over a scooter on ebay

If you'd be so kind as to spare me your musings, DUTR, I think that would suit us both the best.0

It is seriously misdescribed. For one thing, it doesn't run at all, never mind running perfectly, but there are about 10 separate inaccuracies or downright lies in the listing. We should have the cooperation of the courier who delivered it regarding the identity of the person who handed it off to him and their address, as he is also quite annoyed with the seller, who didn't pay him (told him that the recipient would be paying).
He don't say much about it, so assuming he can start it what's he lied about?
As you have c bike licence why not buy a real bike?0 -

Aka only post what the op wants to hear.

What he's posting is total nonsense. He appears to have a caricature notion of what university is like (surprise, surprise), seems to think I've recently become an adult in spite of already having been told that I already have a masters and am retraining - not that that is even slightly relevant in the first place, but once again he STILL hasn't bothered to read anything properly. He hasn't properly read the seller's description either, or compared it with the details I gave of the bike above, which show that there is no sensible way of reconciling the one with the other. It makes me wonder if he's ever actually read anything properly in his life. The "advice" he's giving (read, thinly-veiled insults), is complete nonsense and utterly useless. The fact that you can't see that speaks to your own dangerously bovine mental condition.
In summary, I'd be grateful if anybody who was thinking of coming to this thread to post abuse, veiled in useless half-baked advice or otherwise, would go and occupy themselves elsewhere (I'd like to suggest hiking on a motorway or attempting to catch javelins).0 -

In summary I would like to say if any reader is going to act so daft as to make a vehicle purchase without pre viewing then complain about it afterwards, be wary of what sort of sympathy to expect.
What I posted is not nonsense, what kind of other idiot would have done what you have done?
I do have 3 syllable words to describe too, but they are not for daytime public forums.
And sorry when you said you have graduated, I forgot about the OU model, which you wouldn't have access to resources like at some other establishments.0 -
So tell us how the seller has lied?
Other than the fact you can't start it.
Does it have a mot and tax?0 -
I'd be surprised if you knew much in the way of 3 syllable words. What you have to say is not only not for daytime public forums, it is not for any forums at all. It is simply not fit for public consumption. In my opinion you should secret yourself to a secluded location and stay there until you're dead. That way nobody else will have to listen to your bilious nonsense. Short of that, if you would kindly stop commenting on my thread, that would be most appreciated.0

You think that the fact that it is completely dead, doesn't start at all or even turn on, have lights that work, or anything, is a trivial matter then?
You think that the fact that the battery cover is falling off and the front compartment lock is broken is a trivial matter? You think that part of the fascia being ripped off and the ignition wiring being scrambled is a trivial matter?
You think that all of that conforms with the advert? I shouldn't have had to write this reply. What you're suggesting is total nonsense.0 -
Not sure what uni degrees have to do with life skills and ebay purchases in particular, I thought that they only show you have specialised on a certain subject?
Anway, back to topic. Seller only has one other feedback after selling something and is a negative one, that should have ringed alarm bells.
Advice: get a report of the bike and then see a solicitor, there are lots who specialise in this sort of matters.0 -

So it's got a flat battery.0
