why do people come on here when it is clear they cant read.

the collar has a audio distraction feature and a vibration feature, so the shock feature does not need to be used.

These are approved distraction/anti barking Training Aids.

below 2 similar items sold by major retailers

... and looking at your post, not only people who can't read but also perhaps people who can't write as well?

The OP stated: "Item arrived but we notice that the static impulse and vibrate does not work, so the only function we have is the light and the bird sound", in other words their complaint includes the fact that the shock function doesn't work.

(One of the items you linked doesn't have the shock feature, and the other link doesn't work.)

yes but even purchasing it you still expect it to full work even if you are not going to use a feature.

like say you purchase a mobile with built in calculator, but how often if any time would you use the calculator, but you find this feature does not work, you would still have the right to complain as an advertised feature does not work.

this links both work just checked and again read 'similar item' i have stated many times the shock feature wont be used, but it looks like its an ATTACK the OP forum.

In fact, neither of the items have a shock feature so desipte the OP claiming "below 2 similar items sold by major retailers", they are not similar at all.

The main difference being that if a mobile phone went wrong, the chances of it giving unwanted electric shocks are just about zero.

The collar you have purchased is an extremely cheaply made item, probably made with no checks as to its safety, and definitely no checks made as to its legality for sale in the UK. (as it is illegal due to having the wrong plug fitted).

    learn to read.

The shock feature is part of the item and was not going to be used. And yes these are legal in the uk as they Are also sold by UK companies.

This is going off topic to abuse another member so read the forum rules ( oh i forgot you all cant read)

If you could read, I stated that it was illegal in the UK as it doesn't have the correct plug fitted and not that it was illegal due to the fact it can shock an animal.

uses AAA and PP3 batteries, no electric plugs, we have used these before without having the shock feature as these are aids to control a dogs barking. you can even get some that will spray water in the dogs face if you are willing to pay the high price for these ones.

What about the 2 pin mains charger clearly shown in the pictures in the listing?

thats the unit that fits on the collar that vibrates and the pins have soft attachments that fit on them once you insert the battery which would transfer the shock if you use this feature.

as you see on the remote the 4 buttons, shock, light, vibrate and audio . scroll down the listing and you will see how it fits together.

these ones are worse ebay.co.uk/itm/190826817129 as these emit the shock pulse without any control

OP, if you must use a shock collar on your dog then at least do the half decent thing and buy one from a reputable source. Yes, they are more expensive, but they are less likely to be badly made and dangerous.

If you can't bring yourself to spend the extra tuppence then you shouldn't have a dog. Please don't get any more dogs when you're finished with this one.
Love the animals: God has given them the rudiments of thought and joy untroubled. Do not trouble their joy, don't harrass them, don't deprive them of their happiness.
