a year or so ago I posted on here as I had a non payer, went all the way to close the dispute, who had over 2000 feedback as both a buyer and seller. That buyer was still using ebay on a daily basis.

I also have several in my logs of blocked buyers with over 1000 feedback, the highest ever was well over 4000, and again still buying and selling on ebay- but obviously blocked from my sales by his strikes.

    Really

Update on the second item I'm selling...

The person has replied to my message and has asked if i will post the item to france, what do i say?

Do you want to post to France?

If the address is confirmed on Paypal and you're happy to send it there then...

Personally I stick to UK only, but many do send to other countries without problems. Obviously postage costs will be different and there may be other things to consider when posting to France.

It's really up to you, but make sure if you do that you're covered if anything does go wrong. It's best not to send to an address that's not confirmed on Paypal though.

The address on paypal is a UK one. The person said that's his/her son's address and if i don't want to post to france then i can post it to his/her son's house in the UK.

In that case, I'd tell them that you will only post to the UK and to the address confirmed on Paypal.

You really need to read the first post in the sticky postage thread.

I'm sure it's an option when listing an item, although it's possible there might be an option under my account to make them all private - I've never looked lol.

Generally there's no need to hide bidders id as ebay do this automatically like s***2.
If you want a private listing then you select it when creating your listing but many ebayers wont bid on this type of listing as it can hide shill bidding.
