Advice - selling a iphone 5 on eBay

Just be aware that your eBay buyer can still pay right up to the moment you can get the dispute closed. So if you happened to sell on gum tree this weekend you could have a real problem.
You must deal with the eBay sale first as it has cost you money in fees.
They raise a very good point. Sort out ebay then, if it hasn't sold, you can sell it through Gumtree.
In answer to the gumtree question though, the photos look fine and it's a fair price to ask.0 -

I'm having another problem selling another item on ebay, this could just be coincidence but Ive not been paid for another item, are ebay having technical issues or something? I have mailed the person and no reply and i opened up a case with ebay still no reply from the buyer.
This has never happened to me before and Ive been selling on ebay over 2 years and had my account since 2007 - just wondered if anyone else is having problems like this.0 -

They have had some technical issues, there's also more bad buyers on ebay than a few years ago. I'd contact Paypal and double check everything is fine with your account.
However, as the buyer isn't replying I'm guessing they may just be a bad buyer.0 -

There is no need to call PayPal, just open an NPB dispute.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I've already done that, this is my second none payer in the last couple of weeks, maybe ebay are having technical issues because the buyers aren't even responding to me to tell me they no longer want the items maybe is just coincidence.
It is just a coincidence, we all get batches of non payers and then none for ages.
Having reset your seller preferences you should have less problems in future.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Having a fair amount of positive feedback doesn't mean the buyer's going to pay. Especially if she is only a buyer since sellers can not leave negative feedback anymore.
People still change their minds about items/prices or decide they just can't be bothered, plus there's a whole number of other reasons why they might not pay.
Obviously feedback is still important, but it's not a sure factor of whether or not a buyer will pay and not cause any problems.0 -
a year or so ago I posted on here as I had a non payer, went all the way to close the dispute, who had over 2000 feedback as both a buyer and seller. That buyer was still using ebay on a daily basis.
I also have several in my logs of blocked buyers with over 1000 feedback, the highest ever was well over 4000, and again still buying and selling on ebay- but obviously blocked from my sales by his strikes.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
