Advice - selling a iphone 5 on eBay

I recently sold my iPhone 5 on eBay but i think someone is out to scam me as it's been 6 days and no payment. I've sent 2 messages to the buyer and no response. I don't know what to do, any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Contact the buyer and if they don't reply with a couple of days open an unpaid item case.
How are they trying to scam you if they haven't paid? Time wasters, maybe, but not scammers. Just make sure not to send the item until you can see the payment in your Paypal account.
Edit: If you've sent two messages and had no reply or payment just open an unpaid item case. Nothing else you can do. Once that case is closed you can relist the item.0 -

Yes, you should be able to get your fees back. The ebay help page has all the information you need to know on making sure you get your fees back - http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/sell/unpaid-items.html
It also says "If your buyer didn't pay, you cancel the transaction or you end your listing early, you can offer an item for sale again by relisting it. If the item sells the second time you list it, you may qualify for an insertion fee credit."(http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/sell/relist.html)0 -

Thanks for you help. I don't understand why people do this  if i'm bidding on summat on ebay i'm gonna buy it.0 -
Also what is your advice for reselling it on ebay. Should i start it at 99p again? I didn't get the price i wanted for it in the end tbh.0

Just to clarify. You need to do the full NPB on the first buyer before you relist.
The full NPB can be opened on day 2 and must remain open for a full 4 days until it says it can be closed and your FVFs returned.
Then relist from the original listing and you will get a credit of the basic listing fees for the 2 nd listing but only if it sells again.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Personally I would list it at the minimum you will accept, just make sure your seller preferences are set tightly to avoid time wasters. No overseas bidders, no bidders with 2 or more strikes in the past 12 months and possibly for a phone bidders with a card listed on eBay and with more than 5 feedback.
Incidentally, if you listed it at 99p then you had no listing fees to pay assuming you are a private seller, so you don't need a relist credit.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I had a similar thing when I sold a car. I sold it twice, but then no contact from the buyer. I actually ended up selling it to someone just up the road who actually had the second highest bid. After talking to a friend who sells a lot of cars on ebay, he told me that it is common for Polish buyers to bid on several items, and then just pick one from the ones that they have won. This could be the same sort of thing that happened to you.0 -

I was just worried ebay would still charge me even tho i didn't sell it. This is the first time this has happened to me.0 -

That's very unfair - how can they get away with doing this  and why don't ebay ban them?0
