For ebay, you could start the listing at £400 BIN and have a best offer button (which is free to add). Then if someone offers a lower price that you are happy to take you can accept that.
I would be very worried about fake money on gumtree. Also i'm in my account settings on ebay now and not sure what to put in this section
Buyers who may bid on several of my items and not pay for them
Block buyers who are currently winning or have bought X amount of my items in the last 10 days. Only apply this block to buyers who have a Feedback score of or lower than X amount0 -

You should read about seller protection BEFORE you relist.
Thanks. I'm gonna do that now.0 -
This is the first time i have sold anything this expensive on ebay. I've had my ebay account for a few years but have always sold small items that have gone for no more than £40 max. What is this seller protection? I really should look in to it. The phone is 4 months old and is very good condition.
Basically read the sticky postage thread. Fully traceable postage (special delivery is ideal) and only to the adders PayPal say ismOK to send to. Phone must be shipped within 7 days of payment.
Keep all postage receipts and tracking details for a minimum of 180 days.
Make sure you log into your PayPal account to get address, as that habit also means you will never fall for a fake 'you have funds' email.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. As suggested, certainly read up on seller protection.
I'd say £350-400 is a fair price depending on network and GB.0 -

Don't bother with that one, look for the one about buyers with strikes. Also the one with buyer requirements about a card listed, or a PayPal account .
And definitely the one that you do not send to countries that you don't specify. Then make sure you don't leave international post enabled on the sell form.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I agree with this. Special Delivery, make sure you package it well, keep all receipts and note down any serial numbers on your phone.0 -
