The buyer has now cancelled the transaction and i gave her a full refund through PayPal. I'm just waiting for her to do the bank transfer now.

With BT, although it is the safest method, do a few things to keep totally safe.

    1. Log into your bank (not via a link) to check the balance has gone in.
    2. Leave the transfer overnight and check again in the morning to see it has all gone through or ring your bank asking them to confirm it has cleared.

Then post the item, Special Delivery (don't use another service).

Keep your receipts for 180 days in case of a problem, albeit the buyer can only take a legal route (not Paypal or Ebay).

To make sure the money has cleared and it is all in there and can be withdrawn.

Sometimes it will tell you that the money is in your account if you check online because the transfer has gone through, but the actual money technically isn't in your account yet.

Virtually all high street banks clear bank transfers instantly, however there are one or two that clear at close of business. If you are not sure what your bank does it doesn't hurt to wait until the next day after funds are depositied.

You are wasting your time with this Be11end, just relist the phone.

I had that much hassle trying to sell the phone on ebay that in the end i just took it down and recycled it with EE and got £300 cash no fees and sent the phone special delivery and within the week the money was in my bank :j
