I used to work in a supermarket and we had that pen your on about. You can prob buy them on ebay lol

Probably lol. But I don't know what shops sell them if you needed it within the next day or two. Anyway, like I said, just be sure to double check it and you should be fine.

You can't stop it happening to others, but you can help prevent it happening to you.

Never click links for anything that comes via email, particularly ebay and paypal emails.

Keep an eye on your Paypal and any requests for passwords, change of email etc, deal with immediately. Keep your PC uptodate with the relevant antivirus protection.

Oh i never click on eBay or PayPal links in my emails. I'm still waiting for the buyer to cancel the transaction still not sure if she is dodgy but i'm not refunding until she cancels.

    Send in debt collectors!
Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

Refund the payment, but refuse payment by bank tranfer. They can easily scam you that way too and you will have no protection from ebay/paypal as they didn't pay that way.

I'm confused how they can scam you with a bank transfer when it can't be reversed. How would they do this?

It would come right back out your bank as the card details are on Paypal or, as already said, they'd send debt collectors after you.

Buyer still not responding. The money is still sat in my PayPal account. I'm getting slightly worried now, surely she wants her £340 back

Scammers always have their ways. Fake payments, telling the bank it is fraud and getting their money back, using someone elses details etc.
