This is fine if you want to set this for your family. I have the £10 treat money for just you - so perhaps you can add another £10 for a family of 5.... getting into the mindset of putting limits on things makes you think harder about where you spend your money and how. Well done Brizzle - love these little added extra restrictions you all place on yourselves...:T:T:T“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Hi,
Not sure if any of you will remember me, but it was onboard for the very first challenge and for some months after. I've slipped off the last 4 months or so, I'm still doing well but I want to tighten up as I too have a New Year target.
I am currently debt-free with some savings, I want to save £3800 by 31/12/13 towards buying my first house.

Hi all,
I would like to join this as a motivational opportunity.
I may have some strange balances so please bear that in mind when I enter them.
I will post in a manner that I find easiest which will be as:
Debt Title / Opening Date / Opening Balance / Balance as of 31st July 2013 / Expected Repayment Date / Current Interest Rate / Target Debt Free Date / Target Debt Balance For Current Year (2013)
Credit Card / N/A / Nil / £1,313.92 / September 2013 / 16.9% / August 2013 / £Nil i.e. Repay £1,313.92
Mortgage 1 / March 2011 / £80,250.00 / £74,371.31 / February 2041 / 2.29% / February 2035 / £3,500.00/£74,371.31
Mortgage 2 / May 2013 / £79,650.00 / £79,650.00 / April 2041 / 4.99% / February 2035 / £3,650.00/£79,650.00
Loan 1 / February 2012 / £8,222.40 (Inclusive of Interest) / £1,983.64 / January 2016 / 21.33% / December 2013 / £Nil i.e. Repay £1,983.64
Loan 2 / May 2013 / £11,482.92 (Inclusive of Interest) / £10,526.01 / April 2016 / 5.1% / June 2014 / £3,026.01/£10,526.01
I hope that this makes sense and that you all believe that these are realistic targets. Also note I have used all my savings already so I currently have no access to further funds to make disposable.
I will try my absolute best to try to over achieve as and when I can.
Thanks for making me attempt this for a new me and all the best to everyone else who are trying to become Debt Free in the near future.
Thanks,
Daniel
As pointed out I had missed my reason for doing this, well let me correct my mistakes.
