I'd like to join you please, I lurk and follow you from afar but now it's time to jump in.

I'd like for my husband to be able to leave his high pressure but well paid job and get out of the rat race a bit.

  • I'm in please! I want to be DF so our savings can start for a deposit.

I'm already in the grocery challenge and second purse but I know I can get my shopping down further and me and OH need to stop smoking!! we're spending £200 a month on cigarettes when we could save £200 and have £2400 in the bank extra each year. Slap on the wrist!

Goals: Save £500 for emergencies, Save £200 of Amazon vouchers for Xmas, fix my holey clothes!

In again Kat, I will try much harder this month.

Goal: I have no debt now thanks to this site (barring our mortgage) but I want to get into better habits so that the scant amount of money I do have every month is enough for me to have a good life without feeling like I'm missing out. Also putting between £5-£20 a month aside into different accounts to save for summer holidays once DS starts school as I don't want to end up in debt again.
