Hey everyone, just popping by to say hello :hello: I'm on a SFD today, and yesterday was one as well but I did spend on Monday (mostly necessary, although a little indulgent £3 very un-necessary bag of liquorice somehow slipped into my possession!).
I've upped my food budget to £100, which seems rather a lot, but I'm hoping to come in well under budget and use what's left as a September spring board. I need to stock up on things like washing up liquid, olive oil, washing powder, bleach - I've even run out of chickpeas and tinned tomatoes!! Where are those £3 off £20 Sainsbury vouchers when I need them?!!
Anyway, I just popped in to say hi. I'll update my figures properly later.
Enjoy your evening0 -
Still struggling to get another NSD! yesterday should of been a NSD but went to the gym and forgot my water bottle so I ended up buying a £2 bottle of water from the gym caf!!!! total rip off! today was treated to a lovely dinner out by friend but I paid a £3 tip as she had no cash - did challenge the restraint as I was supposed to get 40% off and when the bill came they had only taken 25% but they apologised and changed it! Friend was very happy to get 40% off!- but was worth it for lovely food and great company! Out again tomorrow night but it won't be a cheap night! do have a 30% off voucher for food tomorrow shame its not off the wine!!!!0

Hi All,
upto SFD number 8 now! and four in a row!!!
:j:j:j:j
I'm aiming for 6 in a row, which means no spends until saturday!
I'm not doing too bad money-wise, still have just over £50 left but have a leaving do the end of the month and visit to a friend's down south.
The plan for an extra £800 by december maybe coming together, the pay rise should help also have a couple of weekend shifts booked in (more than 3x hourly rate!!) and hopefully about £50-100 worth of stuff to go on ebay again. I just need the motivation to start the never-ending upload. Plus I have loads of study to do, so will maybe spend the next few weeks finishing that off then really get into the ebay sept/oct.
Everyone looks like they're doing really well, nearly half way there! cumooooooooonnnnn!October Awakening: Food £20/20 Petrol £50/50 Misc £190/194.01 Extra Earnings £100/196.56 SFDs 20/220 -
Hi all,
Am in a bit of a pickle this month, have managed to max out nearly all my budgets so far. Can't decide if I have underestimated or just been frivolous
Have had the niece and nephew up for a few days and have spoiled them a little but I can't regret it, that's what little people are for
So far..
Food = 150/150
Petrol = 160/160
Entertaining = 205/250
NSD = 11/20
Hopefully we have enough food till the end of the month but petrol might be an issue, fingers crossed we can make it
It's a times like these I'm thankful to everyone who posts on these boards, I know I don't post regularly but I lurk most days and reading all the posts makes me feel positive about the whole situation. I have told our nearest and dearest that we're concentrating on paying off our debts but you don't like to go on about it too much so just 'listening' to all that is said here is as much an out let as therapy (too expensive on my budget)
So a big thank you to all wonderful people for keeping a smile on my face x x

P.S.get well soon NSK xLBM = Jan 1st 2013 - £42,000 owed DFD = Christmas Eve 2014:D

Just a quick post to say Im still here, just not posted. Been a bit 'not all together' so not in mood for posting. Anyway, getting the SFD together slowly, but the food budget has gone out of the window, so I have now just drawn out £30 to last me the rest of the month, so will have to be very careful to make it last.
