Hi everyone,
Quick post before bed, not a NSD as spent £23.00 on lunch and some other things! Just got back from to London and pretty tired, sometimes being away from the hustle and bustle of London makes me miss it but other times like today, I miss the quietness of the country...
Will update more tomorrow!Save £12K in 2013 £4000/90000 -

Congratulations MrsToast and welcome to Maisie .
I bagged my first sfd yesterday. Weather cleared up in the afternoon so we went for a walk, park and picnic. Kids bought their own ice creams. I felt a bit stingy, but I said as I'd made enough food that we didn't need anything else, if they wanted ice cream they could use their pocket money. I think their dad has already reimbursed them half of their money each - soft.
Well, who knows what today will bring. It's looking like a day in watching DVD's to me as it's pelting with rain and not looking good for the rest of the day. Might do a bit of baking with the kids with stuff we already have in. Trouble is ds gets hyper being stuck indoors all day. If I get desperate I'll take him to buy his school shoes...:cool:Ninja Saving Turtle0 -

Congratulation Mrs Toast!
Today should be SFD number 4. This month is going off to a good start. So far spend £40/150 on food and £22/50 on HH and other (this time not including garden which I keep separate) so am on the right track. Hopefully won't need to spend till Friday now. Will need to be really tight the week after as we'll be off but I got Friday to myself and will do a sensible well planned shop for next week then.DEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/250 -

Hello all, and congratulations to Mrs Toast and Maisie:j
Not working today, have a days holiday not sure what for as I wouldn't usually book a Monday off but there must have been a reason for it at the time I booked it.
Going to be a SFD today as its raining here and the only time I will be going out is for a walk later on (trying to up my exercise).Got a bit more babysitting on Wed and Friday for DGD2 (the little one - 3 months old) who is a joy to have, she is such a good baby (hope Maisie will be too) sure its mums milk, and she saving a fortune feeding her and not using formula (although that wasn't the reason she did it)
This month going well so far, I get paid on Friday so I will take the rest of my money out then and put it into my pot. (I have a small cauldron on my kitchen windowsill that I put my house money in, so I cant see it, my equivalent to envelopes:))
Anyway better get on with some house tidying and clean the bathroom as I had unexpected guests over the weekend, they looked after themselves and bought their own food!!!! just needed a bed, which was just as well as I was working all weekend.

Morning All,
Grey and wet in Wales, where's the summer gone?
Mrs Toast congratulations to you & Mr Toast on Baby Maisie! x
I'm hoping today is going to be a SFD, bought lunch and snacks and gym after work. I have no excuse to spend money.
Really need to rein it in this month as currently in a temp job which ends at the end of the month, it might get extended but no guarantee and then I'm off to Spain for a week (already paid for) just need spending money and I've got debts which I need to clear!
Totally debts I am declaring: CC1 - £750, CC - £800 (interest free), Parents - £2,250 (interest free) Grand total of £3,800 that's slightly scary!

:T Congratulations Mrs Toast and welcome to Maisie :j
And hello everybody else too!
Weekend in London with the BF, was relatively low spend, including SFD no. 1 on Saturday. Another SFD planned for today, there's nothing I need to spend on that's for sure.
I also should probably make a confession - as I didn't "attend" the group last month, I had a little splurge at the end of July with some of August's pay packet, before NSK rules kicked back in. Two pairs of work trousers, which are kind of necessary, although I could have probably battled on without. And a limited edition 7" EP of my friend's band. Which wasn't necessary but I wanted to do it, not least to support my friend. £70 in full damage, which is not terrible, but not great either. August I will be battening down the hatches and trying a lot harder.Total debt: [STRIKE]£9473.62[/STRIKE] £7,384.87 22% PAIDTAF #25 NSD 8/12 | Food £43.45/£50 | eBay 0/20 | Exercise 5/18:T Proud to be Dealing with my Debt :TDFD: June 20150
