Alias. i work in eng co-ord for scampton. As for the fitness progression iv been put on the 12 week program and am 6 weeks into it, so ill be due a retest around valentines day, so this is my main aim at the moment, but i wouldnt mind doing the lincoln 10km. Do you know how much it is this year? I cant find it online yet.
I was ment to be going out this morning for a 5km but i felt so tight and stiff this morning after doing a 5km then circuit training in the same day, i think i over did it a little bit yesterday.

Just a rough idea, really, as a "target for this year" - training PB is under 50 mins now, so you'd like to think (once I get back into shape following xmas) a 45min race time isn't too unrealistic. So, by the end of the year, I'd have thought 40 mins was doable - otherwise I won't have made a whole lot of progress...

Rest is good.
Whenever i've had a injury layoff i nearly allways come back faster than before hand. Its the body having a longer time to recover and build itself up better basically.
