Morning All!
Hope P and Chris are feeling better today!
I did my hill 6 today and did a slightly shorter route than usual, but about six miles in 55 mins - which isnt bad at all considering I've got a little knee niggle so was taking it very slowly and my pulse was around 94 or so...not bad considering the efforts so far this week - one small problem though - I need more hills!!
Bigger hills in London anyone - that I can reach on a thursday morning??
Happy running everyone

You be careful with that knee, becky!
I have woken with a cold.....Pania's fault! She breathed near me about 10 days ago, so it must be her I caught it from

Thanks Hypno - I did it falling into the shower - ouch! The bruising is impressive I'll say, but it seems to have spread through to both sides now and is aching (only very slighlty) on downhill sections - hence the taking it easy today

14 hours without a post!! Thats quite some gap, must be all the xmas shopping!:p
Well done Becky!
Hopefully that knee will sort itsself out when the bruising works out, but glad you're being kind to it.
The time and pulse combination does seem to back up yesterday's effort as being pretty genuine. In other words you probably have got to 50 minute 10K speed in training, mainly on strength work.
Very impressive!:D:DGt NW 1/2 Marathon 21/2/2010 (Target=1:22:59) (6:20/mile) 1:22:47 (6:19):j:j

I know I've got this mad time in my head that a friend of mine pulled out a while back that I'd love to get under and really wind him up since he think he's soooo much fitter than me - still some way to go yet, but getting closer

(Competetive moi??)
Oh Also - I've got a friend down this weekend as well - I really want to go out Saturday night and party and dance the night away andf go ice skating on Sat too...do you think I will be okay doing my 14 miler on Saturday morning instead of Sunday??0 -

What time would that be then?
You could do the 14 miler on Saturday, but whether you could do the rest afterwards is another question!:eek:Gt NW 1/2 Marathon 21/2/2010 (Target=1:22:59) (6:20/mile) 1:22:47 (6:19):j:j
