Nope - I go to bed at 9pm so 5.30 is actually not that early for me :D

You could say I've always been an early riser ;)

    I just love coffee mmmmmmmmmmmm

Well I drink gallons of the stuff and have never been accused of being an early riser!:p:p

just done 4 miles and although supposed to be an easy one seemed like I was working hard today and came in at 38.22, bit disapointed with that but hey 14 miles to tackle on Sunday

    Morning Sally,

Its probably just a long week catching up with you if it feels hard...anyway I think that time is great! Sub 40 mins for 4 miles is not an easy run!

Are you excited about the 14 miler?? I know I am :D

um excited......lets just say dreading it would be more appropriate. If I get around 14 miles of course I will be V Happy!

  • Sally, feeling sluggish on routine runs is nothing to be concerned about. If you felt fresh and lively on every run it would mean you weren't getting any improvement, so don't worry, today's run was fine - sounds pretty much like mine tbh.

As for the 14 miler, the slower you take it the higher your chance of completion - somewhere between 11-12 minute miling will be fine.

  • I'm up for it! I follow the idea that fat blokes can and do run! Three times London Marathon completed but always had to walk part of them so a new running group is a great idea!

It also helps to take your mind off the "other" things in life and also no one can ring you chasing money when you're podding along:j
