    Thanks Hypno!

It was just an easy today to recover from yesterday - they may not be getting any faster these 4 milers but they are getting easier - which is good because they up to 6 in a week or sos time!

Have fun at the gym today...any plans for what you're going to do?

That's more or less the same thing, isn't it?

If you put the same effort in that you used to have to, you'd be going faster!

    Vrrrrroooooooooom! Or something.

Anyway, my morning update: footy yesterday was LAME beyond belief. Got absolutely destroyed by the other team in both matches I played, didn't really get hold of the ball, did no "good things" at all...and barely even got out of breath. Rubbish. Put me in a horrible mood all night.

Gonna take it out on the legs at lunchtime though :)

Becky if it's getting easier then you're not working hard enough (joking), perhaps you need a dog to chase you. :D

Well done with your runs x

There arent any dogs where I live except those little tiny ones (usually found in bags)! :D

Well it was supposed to be an easy run, but I still cant believe the pulse - I'm waiting for the god of low pulses to come and tell me what I'm doing wrong??

Okay, so I think I measured my pulse today - but it came out at 80 that cant be right surely??

Hi Becky, Was that immediately after your run? If so, you must be more comatose than Rich if you can do a run (even an easy run) with a HR of 80! ;)

Have you measured your resting heart rate? You need to take this when you have been relaxing for quite a while, or as soon as you wake up in the morning. My RHR is 56, but I'm expecting this to come down as I get fitter. Even when I am just pottering about making a cup of tea or tidying up, my HR is 70+. When I run it is usually over 120, even on easy runs.

    Hey P!

I know what you mean about getting the enthusiasm up to run - it has been rather cold and dark these last few days - winter is really setting in - but on the up side not long now till its the shortest day and then it starts getting lighter again...

Try not to break the man too much :D

Chick - yeah I cant find it when resting (um it is weak and pretty slow I guess) - I have tried honest!

Although I havent done my sit ups again today - must get this into my routine in the mornings somehow without having to fight flatmates for the shower post run hmmmm
