LOL Hypno - possibly! It actually caught me up but it only seemed to want to headbut me and stick its nose in my pocket! :rotfl:

    LOL!

Actually, I have discovered a new hazard when running - those bloomin long leads that dog walkers have that you can't see because the dog is miles away!

I can see someone walking, but I can't see the dog, so can't see the lead, and then nearly garott myself!!!

ETA: Oooh, the difference a comma makes :D

Idio you made me lol. You so naughty :D (mind you, it says something about my mind too, doesn't it? :p )

I should feel guilty for not going to the club's speed session tonight but I don't. I'm having too much fun playing with my new laptop! First time using Vista too, so it will take a while to get used to it. Back on track tomorrow though.

:rotfl: that's what I initially typed out then changed it to tales of invisible dog leads :o :rotfl:

Thanks for that last line hypno, it really made me laugh out loud as could 'see' it happening! :rotfl:Not that I'd laugh ...of course. I really did agree with you though as, for the sake of safety, those blasted leads should only be used in fields where folk would be on the look out for them. Other than that, where there are members of the public using paths etc, keep dogs a sensible and close distance to themselves.... or be polite enough to 'reign em in' when people come near.

Foot note: Maybe we should take one of our own (leads, not dogs) and lassoe any ignorant garotters!!! :rotfl:BTW, any dog owners on here (I'm one myself) I DON'T mean you ...unless of course it was you that did that to hypno! :snow_laug

I've finished me rant now so I'll bid y'all a very good night.

Thanks sue!! We have no streetlights where we are so it is very dark - I have a small hand torch but it means that picking out "hazards" can be very difficult when running.

No running for me today - my legs are feeling the efforts of the last few days, so I am having a day off, other than going to the gym.

Happy running to those who are getting their trainers on today :T

    Morning All,

A lovely easy 4.3 mile run after yesterdays efforts coming in at 42 mins (but there were a lot of stoppages for lights today)...

Okay, so I think I measured my pulse today - but it came out at 80 that cant be right surely??

Hmmmmm, anyway happy running everyone - oooo I'm looking forward to my 6 mile hill session tomorrow :D

I don't know much about the pulse thing becky - I just know that my run at 169 HR last week is not exactly a good thing :o

But whatever your pulse, it is another really good run from you :T
