    Hi all,

well, never managed my actual run. I'm going to try to do some walks instead. Am pg now and hoping it'll go ok, but during my last pg I was very active - going to the gym, took part in the race for life at 37 weeks etc. I am a bit scared this time as despite doing all that I still put on 3 stone and had a 9lb12oz baby. Now I am much less fit and am worried about getting even bigger!! So if you all don't mind I want to do the walks and slowly increase my fitness levels to doing power walking.

I'd like to post my progress on here if you all don't mind, even though I won't be running. I'm sooo impressed with all of your progress - amazing! :)

Ran Sunday in the pouring rain with the club, 10 miles ended up being 12 miles and I am stiff has hell today, felt good during the run though, took us about 1h 45 mins. Not running now until Wednesday.

Hope everybody had a good running weekend

I am so not a runner, but I got sent an email you guys might be interested in depending on location there are lots of different races in Nottingham on the 16th of September this is not meant to be spam, i am not affiliated in any way and the most unfit person you might know but this might be of interest to someone on here. Enjoy.

    Morning everyone :hello:

I have been running but feel like I have lost enthusiasm for everything at the mo :( Did 8 miles on Sunday, which was our first run since Thursday. I am finding 5 runs a week too hard TBH so I think I may reduce it to 3 runs per week but increase mileage.

Have entered a fun run with DD who is 7 a week before the North Run and she is very excited, nice to do running with her although I imagine I will be walking a lot while she *pretends* to run
  • Well done BA

I thought 5 times a week was a bit much, you are better running Sunday as the long run and mid week doing between 5-6 twice a week IMO

:hello:everyone I hope you are all ok, very few postings going on!!

I've just been out for another 3 miler, actually dragged my DH with me as he normally goes off by himself. Good run he made me go a quick pace then normal for the first 2 miles then left me to complete the rest as he went off up the hills. Good to get out of my comfort zone!

    Plan for this week is:

Thurs: speed work a la cnoelj (i think it was), found a field nearby to run around no horses or other animals.
    Fri: 4 miles
    Sat: Rest
    Sun: 6 miles

Need to start building up the distance and will add in hills next week.

    Take care Ev x
