Well done everyone for running after the quiet week last week - I blame the weather.
Brilliant news about the running club Sea, I am too scared to join mine and I personally think the trainers are a good investment. I have found since running I spend that time for "me" and no matter how stressed I am when I go out, I am so much better when I return.
I was up again at 6am and did 4.5 miles :j did Pilates last night and them thighs are starting to elongate now
Have a fun day everyone x
Oooooh just noticed we are in Martin's news-mail this week0 -

MORRRRRNNNNIIIIINNNNGGGGG!!! I'M AN AUNTIE I'M AN AUNTIE!!! LA LA LA!!!!
Congratulations :T
Sounds like some good running going on, and I agree it's definitely worth investing in good trainers. I did about 3 miles last night (slowly getting the distance up a bit). Got an email through from local dance centre yesterday and am thinking about going to a salsa/ latin class, though it's a bit of a pain to get to so not sure if I can get myself organised. Definitely going to try Pilates again though once classes start after summer.. and BA, going to take your advice on the gym ball - hopefully getting one this weekend

I'll have some of that action, first ever Great North Run on September 30th, cost me £38 as well so have to make it worth my while by training lots so I enjoy it!
You're crazy  I did that last year and it was horrible - I still have black toenails from it LOL!!
I still run though, and race a bit. Local running clubs generally accept anybody - nomatter of how fast / long they can run. They are also really cheap and offer loads of support. Also, if you are affiliated to a club you get a cheaper entry into races.
For Example.
Membership - £12 per year
Per 'Club Night' - £1 for insurance
Race Entry non affiliated - £8
Race entry affiliated - £5
We also have a meal together every friday for £3.50 each. Bargain!!
Running is great. Good luck everyone!!0
