    Good runs everyone.

Snags take care of yourself x

No run for me today as going out tonight to a party, so no time to run, get changed and look half decent for the first time since having the baby! Will definitely be out over the weekend.

What a lovely afternoon for a run - a bit chilly, but sunny, very pleasant.

Anyway, the legs were still feeling Tuesday's efforts, but not as much as yesterday, so it felt pretty comfortable despite being the fastest 10K so far.

All in all, I'm pleased with the series of three 10Ks that have followed the first quality session - better than I had expected!

Hehe Well that depends on whether the poor little legs want to, but I'm certainly happy with the way they're recovering at the moment.

I think a slower one is due tomorrow though!

3.8 miles in 40:30.........that's 20 seconds quicker than last week, and my best so far, but I am still wanting to be under 40 mins........hoping that I can achieve that next week!

Over the weekend I am hoping to do a steady 6 miles - I have done 5 so far a couple of times, and several 4's (or thereabouts!) and so I am ready to try a little further.

I saw my GP yesterday regarding my sore shoulder/neck and she has dosed me up with loads of pills and given me the go ahead to carry on running, saying I shouldn't cause it any greater damage, which is encouraging :D

Good luck for the weekend mileage guys!

be careful with that knee sally - don't try and do too much too soon - better to have another few days resting, and come back fighting, rather than try and pack the miles in when you risk doing more damage.

    Be careful x

being a skier, we see lots of knee injuries, and also see lots of people go back to skiing before they are healed, ending up with surgery eventually. I would hate that to happen to you. The fact that it has happened early in training is good - that means there is plenty of time for you to catch up - better that, than to have it happen a week before race day.

Yeah, rest's the most important thing.

I also found, when I was struggling with my knees, doing other exercise to strengthen them, cycling, swimming etc was very helpful. Also found that narrowing my stride whilst coming downhill seemed to protect them more...
